A truly special place with exceptional hospitality and an atmosphere that stands out even among the rorbuer.

The staff were absolutely fantastic — genuinely warm, welcoming, and going beyond what you would normally expect. That level of hospitality really stood out. The atmosphere of the place is beautiful. The wood-burning fireplace, the cozy sofa area, the hardwood floors, and the stunning location all create a special, authentic Lofoten feeling. The sauna access was another major highlight and made the stay even better. Compared to many other rorbuer we’ve experienced, this one feels noticeably nicer, more refined, and more thoughtfully designed.

When we arrived, all the rooms were quite cold (around 12°C). In winter, it would be much more comfortable for guests to arrive to properly heated rooms. We also had to make the beds ourselves, which is not an issue at all. This is just a suggestion: since the bed bases are not in the best condition (although the linen is clean and nice), it might create a better first impression if the beds were prepared before guests arrive.

It's a hidden gem! With its charming location, it offers comfortable cabins and many facilities (sauna, kayaks, sports gear) included in the price!!!

Great location with a fantastic staff (and owner), offering a lot of facilities

The location, at a small fjord and next to high mountains, is beautiful, while only a 15 minutes drive away from Svolvaer where all the supermarkets and the airport are. Tourist sights like Henningsvaer and Kabelvag are also really close by. Kalle has its own private little beach for guests, and a large number of facilities that the guests are welcome to use for free (Kayaks, SUP boards, BBQ, laundry room, terrace, indoor badminton court, tabletennis table, trampoline for children, motorboat, and I am probably even forgetting some). The cabins are clean and are well-equipped as well. Every cabin also has its own parking lot. The staff is really kind, helpful and flexible.

You have to realize that the cabins are traditional fisherman ones. The beds are quite small, and in the two person beds, one person has to climb over the other person to get out of bed. A single person bed hangs above the two person one, and I am not sure how to get into that one without disturbing the people sleeping below. Fortunately, we did not need the single beds.

The location is beautiful . And it is lovely to have facilities on site like the communal area , kayaks , table tennis , paddle board . Nice to have BBQ ,s available and a really nice touch to have fresh herbs available for picking to add to your meals .

Loved everything! Facilities in the lodge and within larger main building excellent and apart from (very reasonable) motorboat hire, everything is within the price. Sauna after a chilly dip every day. Super cosy and relaxing stay. Most impressive was our host Aurora who was delightful, bubbly and so helpful. Also makes a delicious banana loaf! ❤️

The location is incredible - a beautiful and quiet spot. The sauna is otherworldly and is an experience we will remember for the rest of our lives. The facilities at Kalle i Lofoten are fantastic - and many are included in the cost. We loved our accommodation and our stay.

Just stayed here for 8 nights and it's absolutely fantastic 10/10 Staff super friendly and the views from the cabins are breathtaking, looking out over the water and the mountains. On-site facilities includes kayaks, sauna, rowing boats, mountain bikes, badminton and table tennis all free of charge. You can also hire motor boats to go sea fishing. Waffles at 4pm each day which are delicious 😋 Kalle I lofoton is right in the heart of the lofoten islands and about 10/15 minutes drive to the main town of Svolvaer. Beautiful sandy beaches just at the back of the cabin which I have put in my photos from my drone.

We had a wonderful time at Kalle i Lofoten. We loved the sauna and cooling of in the nearby beach (literally 10 seconds away from the sauna). We even managed to see the northern lights from the beach. Just like in the pictures! Very recommendable. In fact, we have already recommended it to some of our friends.

Unfortunately, the kayaks were in winter storage the week we visited and we could not enjoy them.

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed.

Kalle i Lofoten had everything we hoped for and more. The location was incredible, the facilities were beyond amazing, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Wish we had more time to use the bikes and play more badminton. So many fun things to do on the property, if it wasn’t for work we could have stayed there all day!

Only issue was wifi not working! Not a big deal but since it was a work trip it made things a bit more difficult.

So much to do

The location was perfect. You could just go on foot and explore beautiful surroundings. The facilities we good. With rainy weather we would go to the large shed where there were semi-indoor badminton and tabletennis facilities. We used the motorboat, the kanoes. Everything was there to have a good holiday.

The men in my family were too tall for the cabin. Except in the kitchen area and bathroom they could not walk straight up without bumping their head (they are all over 1m85cm). This concerned both the livingroom and the sleeping 'attic'. And this was the only downside to this location.

Amazing place! Perfect quality, interiors made with great esthetic sense and natural feeling. Endless offer of activities - fishing, boats, kayaks, sauna, small sandy beach, grills, indoor badminton, table tennis, relaxing zones, plenty of desk games, books, music instruments... Family runned with great care, very intimate atmospehre surrounded by nature and mountains, far away from traffic and hectic life. It was every day pleasure to return back there from hikes. Hope to come back once..

Wunderschöne Lage direkt am Meer mit Blick auf die umliegenden Bergen – sehr empfehlenswert! Schon beim Check-in wurden wir herzlich von der äuserst freundlichen Rezeptionistin empfangen, die uns mit allen wichtigen Informationen versorgte und uns eine kleine Führung durch das idyllisch gelegene Haupthaus, die Sauna, Waschmöglichkeiten und Freizeitangebote gab. Das Haupthaus ist gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet – perfekt, um den Abend entspannt ausklingen zu lassen. Die Sauna mit Blick aufs Fjord war ein absolutes Highlight! Sie kann täglich zwischen 15.00 und 22.00 Uhr stundenweise zur privaten Nutzung reserviert werden – einfach traumhaft! Unsere Blockhütte Nr. 7 war klein aber fein. Super gemütlich mit Kamin und kostenlosem Feuerholz ausgestattet. Es war alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Sollte das Holz knapp werden, kann man jederzeit Nachschub aus der Scheune holen – ebenfalls kostenfrei. Weitere tolle Extras: In der Scheune kann man Tischtennis spielen, Kajaks stehen zur kostenlosen Nutzung bereit, und ein Waschraum mit Waschmaschine und Trockner kann ebenfalls gratis genutzt werden. Eine Ladestation für E-Autos ist gegen Aufpreis verfügbar.

Die Zimmer sind eher klein, die Kajütenbetten nicht ganz so bequem.

Rorbuer tradicional perfectament acondicionat amb excelent ubicació fora dels centres més turístics

Rorbuer en una ubicació idílica a la riba d'un fiord. Ideal per explorar tota l'àrea propera a Svolvaer i Henningsvaer. El rorbuer estava molt ben equipat i era molt confortable, llar de foc inclosa. El nostre era el número 4 i, segons ens van dir al arribar, es tracta d'un rorbuer de finals de segle XIX perfectament acondicionat però mantenint l'esperit d'aquella època. Les zones comunes que comparteixen els diferents rorbuers estan molt ben acondicionades i amb tots els detalls. Les noies que ho gestionen a qui vàrem parlar van ser molt agradables i atentes en tot moment. Si busqueu rorbuers autèntics fora dels circuits més turístics, aquest és molt bon lloc.

Per pujar al pis de dalt del rorbuer on hi havia els llits s'havia de pujar unes escales una mica dretes. A nosaltres no ens va suposar cap inconvenient però cal tenir-ho en compte.

Parfait pour profiter pleinement des sublimes iles Lofoten

Idéalement situé au bout d’une route et en bord de mer, dans un paysage cerné de montagnes ou randonner, l’endroit est sublime. Les installations sont parfaites (y compris salle de jeux couverte en cas de pluie et sauna donnant sur la mer avec possibilité de se baigner) Accueil très sympathique, on se sent comme à la maison. Nous avions loué la grande maison qui est superbe.

Il faut un véhicule car c’est un endroit très isolé (pour faire les courses prévoir 15 mn de route) Mais cela fait partie du charme !

Bellissimo soggiorno

Il nostro cottage era tipico norvegese, molto accogliente,pulito con la splendida vista sul mare.La cucina era attrezzata bene.La sala comune vicino la reception dove si poteva bere qualcosa di caldo, mangiare i waffels per la merenda e giocare ping pong,badminton al coperto.Kalle ha una sauna con la spiaggia privata, si possono usare gratuitamente (kayak,tavole da SUP,barbecue).Il personale era molto gentile e disponibile.Noi abbiamo apprezzato molto il nostro soggiorno e ci ritornerei volentieri.

Quando siamo arrivati abbiamo trovato il cottage freddo.Per fortuna la ragazza della reception molto disponibile ci ha aiutato ad accendere subito la stufa a legna e la casa si era scaldata in fretta.

整棟度假屋客廳和廚房都有燒木頭暖爐廚房設備也是一應俱全，加上有多種運動設備，桑拿房是亮點。民宿服務人員也很熱心接待，很棒的住宿經驗。

Traumurlaub!

Es war einfach nur top. Wir hatten ein Haus mit 4 Schlafzimmern für 5 Erwachsene und ein Baby. Ein Wohnzimmer, eine große Wohnküche, zwei Bäder und eine Terrasse boten für alle viel Platz, es gab sogar eine Waschmaschine, Schuhtrockner und 2 Kaminöfen mit reichlich Kaminholz - haben wir bei bestem Sommerwetter nicht gebraucht. Im Haupthaus gab es zudem zwei gemütliche Aufenthaltsräume mit Sitzecken, Büchern und Spielen, dazu eine Halle mit TT-Platte, Federballnetz und Trampolin. Die Sauna mit Treppe zum Fjord rundete die Ausstattung ab. Die ruhige Lage in der Bucht ohne Autoverkehr war für uns genial.

Eine aussergewöhnlich schöne Lage, sehr nettes familiäres Personal, völlig unkomplizierte Art und Weise - uns wurden alle Wünsche erfüllt. Für Kinder wunderbar, viel Freiraum, Spielzeug, 2 Strände innerhalb 5 Minuten zu Fuss, Boot, Sauna, Trampolin, Tischtennis, Badminton, Sonnenliegen, Kräutergarten. Waschmaschine und Trockner zur freien Nutzung, Kajaks und Ruderboot und Sauna gratis, Motorboot gegen geringe Gebühr. Wir hatten grosses Angelglück. Tolle Wanderungen unmittelbar vor Ort.

Wir fanden alles wunderbar - uns hat es an nichts gefehlt und falls dochmal, dann wurde es uns umgehend organisiert. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team.

Ruhe pur, aber auch sehr einfach

Die Lage ist schon super, das macht Spaß. Für die Kinder ist viel geboten - auch bei schlechtem Wetter. Es gibt einen Grill, den alle nutzen können und die Stimmung ist prima. Die Ruhe, ein wirklicher Pluspunkt. Das ist wirklich schön!

Die Hütte war sehr aufgeheizt und die Betten sind fragwürdig. Das sind einfache Matratzen und unten gibt es noch ein kleines Bett - da darf man aber nicht größer als 1,80 Meter sein. Da kann man für den Preis irgendwie mehr erwarten. Die Hauptstraße ist mega doll befahren (gerade, wenn man laufen geht) - das ist echt nervig und man stellt sich das nicht so vor.

Kaunis, autenttinen ja rauhallinen paikka, tunnelmallinen siisti mökki. Pihapiiri oli viihtyisä ja siellä oli kivaa tekemistä lasten kanssa, kuten sulkapallo, pingispöytä, kajakit ja trampoliini. Lyhyen ajomatkan (15 km) päässä hieno patikointireitti Djevelporten ja Svolværin kylässä (13 km) paljon ravintoloita ja palveluita. Kannattaa varata Kallesta tunnin saunavuoro, saunasta on upeat maisemat merelle ja pulahdus meressä mahtavaa!
