Wonderful place to stay!!

We had a wonderful 3 night stay - indeed it was our favourite place to stay during our 3 week adventure through Norway. The view is exceptional and just like the photos, the decor is lovely too - very homely. comfortable, super clean and calming.. This placs has everything you need with easy parking and a short drive to town. We loved our stay here. Would highly recommend.

The advantages of its location lie in the quiet neighborhood and its setting on a hillside, offering a complete view of the distant lights across the lake or sea in the town center, as well as New Year's fireworks. Additionally, the accommodation is relatively well-equipped.

The downside is also its location—it's too far from the town center and may be inconvenient without a car. To get to the harbor or cruise terminal, you would need to take a taxi costing around 300–400 Norwegian kroner, walk half an hour to the town center, or combine walking with a bus ride (though most of the journey would still involve walking since the bus stop is quite far away). Another minor point is that the shower area is rather narrow.

A lovely and comfortable stay

A house with spacious living room and a bed room. The view over Svolvær town and the mountains was fantastic.

The kitchen was small and could be arranged more efficiently, e.g. by moving the cooker towards the wall furthest from the door and the opening of the fridge with hinges on the left side of the door. Otherwise, I am not complaining.

Stunning view

It is located slightly far away from Svolvaer and a bit uphill, so you could enjoy a superb view every day. Cozy and feel save even it was raining and the wind was blowing outside.

The layout of the kitchen is a bit tricky. And the fridge doors open in the ‘wrong’ way. It provides linens but we found a dust bunny from the duvet cover.

One of the most spectacular views you’ll ever see

The location and view was one of the most spectacular we’ve experienced in travelling. Breathtaking and mesmerising view over the lake to the mountain from the lounge room and decking. And it changed so much depending on the weather and time of day. Could gaze at it for hours. The owner was also very responsive and helpful and access instructions very easy. The apartment itself is mostly original 50s cabin so pretty ordinary and not very comfortable. The kitchen is tiny and very hard to prepare a meal even for a couple like us. The street and driveway leading to the apartment are very steep and treacherous when icy but being able to park a rental car next to the apartment for free is a definite bonus - just nerve-wracking. What we liked least was having to make the bed up ourselves when we arrived. Not something you want to do after a long drive and for the money you pay.

The best place to stay in Svolvaer

This place is beyond amazing. It is traditional yet luxurious inside, very well situated, tasty with amazing view. If they served breakfast this would be every traveler's dream, but since its a property with no owner physical contact it makes complete sense. The view is impeccable and the residence is super cozy, easy to find and easy to access. Overall the best stay we have had so far during our whole Lofoten journey. I will be returning again and again.

Cozy interior, great amenities, stellar views.

This place is PERFECT! The inside is clean, cozy, and welcoming—an excellent place to relax after a long day or just snuggle up and enjoy during winter snowfall when you don’t feel like venturing out. The deck view is absolutely astounding! That alone is worth staying for. We were fortunate enough to sit out there with warm drinks and enjoy the northern nights one night. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Schöne Wohnung mit toller Lage

Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Die Wohnung ist eine für mich schöne Mischung aus altem Charme und modernen Elementen. Man kann direkt vor der Tür parken und ist in 5 Minuten direkt in der Stadt. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist fantastisch und man kann abends stundenlang von dort die Nordlichter bewundern. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Tusen takk!

Posizione magica. Magnifica vista sul fiordo, da poesia. Casa rustica ma tenuta bene.

Nonostante la bellezza della posizione e dell'appartamento purtroppo abbiamo trovato tanta polvere. Inoltre su coperte e cuscini abbiamo trovato qualche pelo e qualche capello. L'esperienza nel complesso è stata buona, ma a certe cose bisogna fare più attenzione.
