A truly memorable stay, and we’d love to return again.

Lofoten Cabins truly exceeded our expectations. The pictures are exactly as described and if anything, the views are even more beautiful in person. The location is very convenient, just a short drive from the main town of Svolvær, making it easy to get around while still feeling peaceful and secluded. We were also incredibly lucky to catch the northern lights during our stay, which made the experience even more magical. A truly unforgettable place, and one we’ll always remember fondly. Highly recommended.

Just a small note that the parking area can be a bit tight and uphill, especially when multiple cars are parked. We had to carefully squeeze through a narrow space beside two SUVs. It might help to remind guests to be mindful and leave enough room for others.

I highly recommend this place for a longer stay. Peace and quiet, a beautiful view through the large windows, and every night for the whole week we saw the northern lights. The amenities were sufficient for everyday living. The cabin was warm, functional, and comfortable. We’d gladly come back.

Perfect two night stay, both nights with Aurora!

The view was breathtaking! The location ideal, really close to Svolvaer, next to Henningsvaer and with low lighting in order to be able to see the northern lights just from your terrace! The decoration was so cosy to make you relax, perfect for two couples. There were also plenty of utensils and kitchenware to cook if you wish, which we did!

Very nice house

Good location, very quiet. We saw the northern lights in this house through the huge floor-to-ceiling glass. The house is decorated warmly. When we had difficulty parking, the house owner (we thought he should be) helped us. Many thanks!

Amazing lake and mountain views. The cabin was very charming, and on clear nights, you could even see the northern light. The owner provided clear instructions on how to park for easy access and exit, which was very helpful. I would say this was the most impressive accommodation during my trip to Norway.

There were many steps up to the cabin, but this was noted before booking. It’s a fair trade-off for the stunning views from above. The kitchen area was small but acceptable.

Beautiful modern cottage with a fantastic view

Fantastic place! Cottage with a beautiful view, in a calm area. The cottage itself was very comfortable, with huge windows allowing to take advantage of the surroundings. The kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed. All the instructions were clear and we didn't have any problems upon arrival. There was also a huge terrace, perfect for meals and the whole place is well designed. I highly recommend this place.

There were no such things, the stay was perfect, we were even lucky to see the Northern Lights. We would gladly come back to the cottage for sure.

Couldn't have been better!

This was by far the best place we stayed during our two week vacation in Norway. The quiet, secluded location was paradise and the cabin itself accentuated this. There is everything you need in the cabin and it is very modern, clean, and well taken care of. The best feature though, is amazing view you have of a small fjord, and you can enjoy this on the spacious deck, on inside through the massive windows. We would love to go back and spend more time there.

In a quiet place and a good base for exploring lofoten, place was phenomenal and clean! Tom was very attentive and quick to respond and provide updates on driving conditions based on weather. One thing i would recommend is including an additional mirror outside of the bathroom :) overall though great!

Super Lage, aber Mängel

Eine stylische Unterkunft ganz in der Nähe der Städte Svolvaer und Henningsvaer hat uns (Paar mit einem Baby) 5 Nächte beherbergt. Die Aussicht ist wundervoll, besonders von Haus 3 und 4 (beide oben gelegen). Wir hatten auch viel Glück mit dem Polarlicht, weshalb man dort, in der Dunkelheit, wirklich auf seine Kosten kommen kann.

Insgesamt haben wir uns (für das Geld!) mehr von der Unterkunft erhofft. Es war z.B. wirklich nicht sauber genug und damit meinen wir überall im Haus. Auf den Böden lagen z.T. Haare von den Vorgängern, eigentlich sauberes Geschirr, Besteck und Pfannen etc. im Schrank waren z.T. in einem nicht benutzbaren Zustand und im Badezimmer stand ein schwarzes Regal, welches sehr stiefmütterlich "gewischt" war. Schade, wenn man dort etwas ablegen möchte. Vieles haben wir (z.B. in der Küche) vor Benutzung reinigen müssen, um uns wohlzufühlen. Die Spülmaschine wäscht auch nicht gut, weshalb sich der Küchenzustand eventuell erklären lässt. Hinzukommt, dass wir 3 Abende nicht genug warmes Wasser zum duschen für 2 Personen hatten. Da wir nicht so lange duschen, hätte das Wasser aus meiner Sicht reichen müssen. Die Betten waren übrigens nur bedingt "gemütlich". Sie waren mit Betttüchern belegt, sodass man bei kleinsten Bewegungen schnell nur noch auf der nackten Matratze lag. Das war eklig :( Unserem Baby wurde zwar ein kostenloses Reisebett gestellt, die Matratze ließ allerdings zu wünschen übrig.

Keittiön astiasto oli heikohko. Voileipälautaset puuttuivat, kuten myös keittiölastat. Jouduimme paistamaan kalafileet puurokauhan avulla. Myös normaalin kahvinkeittimen puuttuminen oli iso miinus, se pitäisi ehdottomasti olla. Myöskin kylpyhuoneessa olisi hyvä olla lattialasta. Luulimme myös, että 200 metrin päässä olisi ollut ruokakauppa, koska näin oli merkitty Bookingin sivuille. Mutta kyseessä oli joku kalakauppa.

- Die steile Stiege, die zu Hütte 3 + 4 führt, ist mit schweren Koffern echt eine Challenge! - Parkmöglichkeiten etwas herausfordernd - Die Glasflächen der Hütten sind wirklich modern. Leider heizt sich im Sommer bei eine Schönwetterphase das gesamte Gebäude wirklich auf. Der Ventilator konnte da nur wenig Abhilfe schaffen.

Es war wirklich eine sehr schöne Unterkunft mit sehr schöner Aussicht. Sehr schöner Stil bei der Einrichtung.

Allerdings hätte für den hohen Preis schon alles perfekt sein müssen. Es lagen nämlich vor der Haustür mehrere leere Flaschen rum. Zusätzlich war ein Großteil des Geschirrs und der Küche nicht sauber. Eine der Klopapierrollen hatte braune Flecken.
