Weather good except last two days. Beautiful area.

The location was good. A few issues regarding lights, shower but they were rectified. The lodge was comfortable.

The veranda to the front door of the lodge was very dangerous and slippery due to the rain. Handles in the shower would be a good thing. It would help disabled issues.

Great lodge

The Lodge was great, the setting was so peaceful and secluded. It was spacious and comfortable. The lodge had everything that we needed. We were able to completely relax in a lovely setting. The birdlife was amazing, our daughter identified 15 species of birds using Merlin app while sat on the veranda. We will definitely be coming back.

We enjoyed our stay which was greatly enhanced by lovely weather - the site is beautiful

We were a little disappointed with some aspects of housekeeping - rubbish had been left in main bathroom under basin, some food left in kitchen cupboard, no bin in ensuite, no spare bin bags, no cloths in kitchen for washing up/cleaning surfaces. Would have appreciated some up to date info on places to eat/visit and info on operating patio door closure - we eventually sussed it! Hooks behind doors would be appreciated. Also, the smoke alarm cover was left hanging open. May seem to be small things but they did detract from what was otherwise a beautiful lodge with cosy beds.

Great lodge in an interesting area and excellent for dog walks.

Spacious, comfortable and homely, and good to have an en-suite as well as the main bathroom.

The mattress in the master bedroom needs replacing.

It was so nice that we are thinking of returning at some point.

I have to say it is set in a stunning location and being able to sit on the decking with family was a nice surprise. The kitchen and lounge area was spacious and plenty of room for all of us so that we were not tripping over each other. Having the two bathrooms was a plus particularly as our granddaughter was with us.

I would liked to have had a better mattress and for the bed to be slightly higher in height, I would not have been able to sleep on the bed for too many nights, which is a shame as it is such a lovely place. However, I would add that I think this is a common oversight in many places.

It was a great lodge, well equipped, comfortable and clean. Had a great family trip in a very calm park with some wonderful local sites to visit. Really enjoyed ourselves with such a lovely lodge.

Nice comfy lodge, excellent location, very peaceful in woods and near lovely beaches and excellent bike trails. Good communication with the owner who was helpful.

Few basics on arrival would have been a bonus - washing up liquid, handsoap etc - we were only there a few days so nice if you don’t have to go out and buy all these.

Would 100% recommend and I would come back here in a heartbeat!

the properly was very spacious and had lovely vows with a. safe space for my son to play, it was in a good location not too far away from places we planned to go.the beds were comfortable as were the spaces, tv with sky made a difference too! water pressure in showers were good too. there were loads rabbits everywhere which having a 2 year old made his day and he wanted to go rabbit hunting, you can also hear sheep and cows on occasions too which my son loved too! i was a great holiday home

there wasn’t much I didn’t like about the property, the main bathroom had a very odd smell that we couldn’t shift, being pregnant myself it was something I struggled with, there was also a lot of dog hair on the rugs and throws on the bed, and cushions on the couch were dirty and stained from previous stays, other than that I would recommend this place to anyone as it was great!

lovely very spacious lodge in one of the nicest holiday parks we have stayed, very homely, very comfortable. spacious outdoor decking and totally secure for our two small dogs with the most fantastic views and walks

small problem with the fridge freezer being turned off at the mains before we arrived and therefore defrosted caused quite abit of mopping up when we opened the freezer door. took awhile then to get back to fridge/freezer temperatures.

The lodge was a good size and in a very good location. Close to both the sea and forests.

We found the decking was a bit slippery in parts when it rained and the outside light on the side of the lodge didn't work so it was a bit difficult to negotiate the path at night to the parking are.

The lodge was amazing and was so well equipped it was extremely clean and a real pleasure to stay in . It was spacious and had wonderful outdoor space . Full sky tv a dish washer and washing machine and dryer . Really fantastic facilities . We had a wonderful stay anc would love to return as soon as its not booked

The mattresses on the beds could perhaps do with upgrading to reflect the standard of the accommodation and maybe possibly a gas bbq available
