The location was stunningly beautiful with walks along the river and to waterfalls nearby. The self catering cottage was well equipped throughout with quality bedding and towels provided. Use of the hotel pool was included which was great.
We didnt find recycling bins but that may just have been us.

Lovely location, easy to park, friendly staff.
We booked a dog friendly apartment which was basic but fine.
The apartments are split over 2 levels with a steep staircase, the bedroom was down stairs and the living room, kitchen and bathroom upstairs. Fantastic views of the river Clyde.
The apartment could have been checked prior to arrival, several large dead flies on window sills and floor.
It would have been better if the bar had been dog friendly, we had to eat in the reception area with the dog where the tables are really too low to dine. Food was lovely. There is not a local shop to buy anything, nearest in in Lanark, which is a 203 mile drive.
As we had a fridge would have been nice to have been given real milk not UHT cartons.
They no longer accept payments by AMEX which is a shame.
