Stayed here twice now and love the location just outside langholm town center but easy to walk into,everything you need for your stay is provided cooking utensils pots pans towels ect
Can't ignore the fact that it's next to a main road but can't say it affected my or my two kids sleep think this is fairly reflected in the price though. I have paid more for holidays in one room pods this is an authentic wooden cabins with rooms and great layouts

well equipped kitchen and a good vacuum cleaner which is always a bonus when travelling with the woof. Nice and easy to find and convenient location for access to go walking and visiting the local area. There is an EV charger in the village if you are travelling with an electric car - we noticed a couple of times that people had just parked on the slow chargers overnight too - its only a short walk from the cabin so easily an option for you. Lovely and cosy inside - the underfloor heating gets the place toastie (we had to turn it off in the bedroom it was too warm) and there is also a lovely log burner with a good supply of wood (we didnt use it- way too warm)
didnt like that the hedges had been cut so there was a view directly from the footpath and road into the bedroom/kitchen felt overlooked which is a shame, it was hard to sleep with the window open as the property is so close to the road you could hear the traffic - which although it wasnt heavy at all it was noisy because people seem to think they are driving on a speedway not a country road (appreciate owner cant do anything about this) communication could have been better re entry to cabin, disappointed that the cafe was closed for holidays - couple of little areas need attention (back of the bath taps)

The cabin was just beautiful. It felt luxurious and comfortable at the same time. The parking was easy too!

It’s was large, roomy & have a log burner.
The noise! I read the reviews before booking and thought it can’t be that bad but unfortunately I have to say it is very noticeable and does wake you up. I live next to train tracks so usually don’t notice outside noises as much but this was very loud.
Another small thing that I noticed was cobwebs, a quick dusting on the high ceilings would be good.
