Good-sized house for bedrooms, but living space downstairs quite cramped for the amount of people it takes

The property was lovely and warm on arrival and parking was easy. It was lovely that tea and coffee was provided. It was in a good location to walk to pub etc. Great sized bedrooms and modern bathrooms.

We did feel that for the amount of people it holds the kitchen was not stocked well enough with pans and other utensils. We struggled with 6 of us -adults - to cook a Christmas dinner. (It hold 8 people) Saucepans far too small, one oven shelf, very small dinner plates. Also a dishwasher would have been welcome - we knew there wasn’t one but there is space for it. Also the dining table is not big enough to fit all the dinners and drinks on for 6-8 people. We had to set up another one in the room. If you stay there and eat out I am sure it would be fine but with no cheese grater to make a simple pasta dish or utensils to fry an egg easily it’s a struggle to self cater.

Downstairs bedroom and shower room for elderly mother. Location good for sightseeing. Venue suitable for working trades men looking for affordable accommodation

Parking on the pavement as road narrow. Only 1 TV in lounge which I was told by the letting agent had been mentioned previously on other guests feedback. No dishwasher.

Lads away

Pretty much exactly what we needed for a lads weekend in Carlisle. Place was clean and towels provided, we were actually a little late checking out and the cleaning crew had no problem giving us 30 to finish getting out.

It was a little further from the centre than expected but only 20mins from centre at a canter. Even that as I read it back is picking but the site is making write 2 sentences about what I didn't like 🤷🏻‍♂️.

Very good

Really easy to find and spacious comfortable bedrooms. Further out of town than expected but we really enjoyed the walk in as it gave us a chance to look around. There were lots of places near enough to the house for food shopping and take away. Lovely clean bathrooms and the beds were very comfy. Also, very quiet so slept well and it was nice and cosy despite the cold weather.

The stairs were pretty steep so a bit tricky to come down if you have size 12 feet! The dining table was small for 6 people and it could have done with a few more utensils in the kitchen. But for the price we paid it was excellent!

Very spacious property in quiet area is value for money and exceeded expectations.

Pre-arrival information via email was very helpful. Keys in lockbox made check-in easy and convenient. Heating was on when we arrived so the rooms were warm on entry. Wifi was stable and good signal. Very spacious property. Well stocked kitchen. Harraby Inn is very good pub for drinks and food within few minutes walk. Park on quiet street outside property free of charge. Definitely value for money.

Lovely and clean, spacious bedrooms, great bathrooms and kitchen. Well equipped.

Street parking was a bit tight and actually on the pavement. Main staircase was very steep. But both are obviously beyond the owners control.

we really enjoyed our stay, it was great to be able to spend time together as a family group, with space for us all.

The property was nicely furnished, very clean tidy and welcoming. There was plenty of space to stay as a family group. walking distance into Carlise.

There was nothing we didn’t like. the only suggestion we could make would be to have a couple of spare comfy chairs for the lounge, with the house sleeping 8. Maybe a couple of tub chairs .
