Cat Ba Serena Homestay And Swimming Pool

Amazing, secluded stay on the island. Scooter rental available on site, pool table and excellent drink and food options at the homestay. Staff were so attentive to all of our needs and the pool was great.

The staff were fantastic and everything was pleasant from start to finish.

It is far away from other facilities but if you have a scooter you will be okay.

We spent 4 nights in Cat Ba and booked this homestay, looking for a quiet, out of town, budget friendly place. This place far exceeded our expectations. We had 2 double rooms for our family of 4. Breakfast was included each day and we stayed in n for dinner each night. The pool was relaxing, and the homestay provided everything we needed. During our stay we hired a scooter, got a lift into town and back, had laundry done and also booked a private driver back to Hanoi. And drunk many beers and juices. Our 4 nights with all extras was less than half the price of our 2 nights in Halong Bay. Linda was a wonderful host and made sure our stay was very comfortable. It is not a resort and Th he price is excellent for this style of accommodation. I highly recommend this place if you are staying in Cat Ba.

Just take some bug spray! The rooms are basic so don't expect TV or a mini fridge. Take a book.

The two brothers who manage the hotel are very friendly, professional, and helpful. They are flexible, provide transportation options, and do their best to accommodate guests.

the hotel is advertised in booking.com as beachfront, while the actual beach is about 6 km away. The rooms are very small and lack a TV, safe, and small refrigerator. There is also no waiter service; food is ordered through the manager.
