A very calm and lovely place to spend a few days. It is very close to attractions, but far enough for peaceful atmosphere. A few minutes away from a café with breakfast, a few minutes away from an hotel restaurant. Good view on nature from the living room and dining room.

Lovely little bolthole

Immaculately clean, excellent position on quiet road away from Loch Ness monster hunter traffic ! Beautiful open outlook from this upper apartment . Very well equipped with everything necessary including balcony with table and chairs. Host Simon was very helpful and quick to communicate answering my queries. I Loved the idea of asking people to remove shoes at the door for hygiene purposes . 5 of us family had a very comfortable weekend in order to attend a big party locally . It was ideal for us to walk all around the village to the local hall, Saturday market and cafes . Local Coop was handy for some supplies.

We are all fit but quite steep stairway between the two floors might be tricky for some people .. 11 year old felt bunk beds bit hard but perhaps that was just compared with his home mattress Very happy with our stay and would return if have cause to be back in the area .

Cozy stay near by the lake

The apartment located in a quiet street. It had everything we needed for 2-day stay. The kitchen was well equipped and living room was spacious. Rooms were clean, heater worked well.

The shower space was quite limited. There was no shelf for holding shampoo and gels. The water was a bit weak. Despite these we still enjoyed our stay.

Warm and comfortable. Double bed super comfy. The bunk beds were a bit hard but probably more suitable for kids 😂 Great location - short walk to supermarket and the Loch Ness Inn for dinner. Communication from owner was excellent.

The apartment is cozy and big enough for 3 people. Plenty of space. The beds are very confortable and the communication with Simon is easy ans smooth. Highly recommended!

If something, the only thing is the low water pressure in the shower. Nothing serious, just a small detail because the stay was wonderful.

the environment of the property is great, with a balcony where you can sit and have food. It is good for having a trip to nature and with a group of friends to stay in. The place look exactly the same and even have a nicer feel when I get there especially on day time.

It is a bit hard to find from the postcode as well as the map on this website but the host is super kind though we got many troubles in finding it. It is also quite dark outside and I would recommend checking in during day time because the dark make finding it even harder.

The first floor (kitchen/dining/lounge) with the view of the hills and the sound of the gurgling stream was an ideal place to spend a relaxing evening after a long day of touring the Highlands. We were pleasantly surprised by how close Urquhart Castle was to this apartment.

Despite the photographs, we weren't prepared for how tiny the bathroom was. We weren't able to increase the temperatures in the rooms to a comfortable level, so the apartment felt a little cold.

Superb

Our 2yo was in awe of her "upside-down holiday house" - with kitchen/lounge upstairs in order to enjoy the view and bedrooms downstairs. Our 5yo loved the sound of the river and the birds from the apartment and said the windows/light was great - she also said the bunk beds were the comfiest ever! The location was perfect for us: walking distance to a pub/restaurant, close to a convenience store and takeaways - and near to the loch and tourist attractions. The hosts were so responsive and helpful beforehand too. A great mini-break for us, thanks Simon & Gina!
