Everything our favourite place to stay when in area

The place is situated in a fairytale location next to a river and a horse farm. The owners have also set up a trampoline, swings and picnic tables next to the river which our 3 year old loved.
The owners were very friendly and were eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

We've stayed in many 4* and 5* hotels and this place is the cleanest we've experienced. Not a speck of dust to be found and everything was sparkly! Very quiet at night for a restful sleep.
The double bed in the bedroom was very comfortable. When our little one didn't settle on the sofa at night, I slept on the sofa and declare it perfectly manageable (albeit my feet were dangling off). WiFi was strong and we were able to put on YouTube/Netflix on the big TV in the lounge.
Aside from that, the location was superb. We were here to attend a multi day wedding celebration at Polmaily House, which was only 2 mins drive away. While we were out of the cottage most days until 10/11pm, it was nice to have cooking facilities to prepare a filling breakfast for our fussy little one. Location wise, it was near the middle stretch of Loch Ness, with the Nessie Experience within a few minutes drive away. We booked a 2 hour boat ride with Jacobite Cruise, which was around 20 minutes drive away. The town has a Co-op supermarket for last minute bits.
We brought plenty of bottled water, but discovered the tap water was deliciously fresh! Next time we come to stay, we won't bother bringing water, nor salt/pepper/oil. This cottage is fully stocked with various condiments and even has an air fryer!
Our 3 year old particularly enjoyed the grounds when we arrived, after a long car ride. We were playing football and there is a trampoline and other kid friendly things to play with in the garden.
Loved everything about this place. We'd love to return again.

.The bed was a bit firm than am used to but that is all.
