Location. Kitchen. Spacious for 3 pax.

Needed a paint job. Lots of mosquitos when opened the window in the evening. This was in late August.

A very good place for a short stay in Arles - we enjoyed our time at the property.

The location was fantastic - right in the centre of Arles. It was also very quiet inside the duplex considering the street is quite busy with tourists. The bed was a very good size and very comfortable. The air conditioning worked very well. The owner responds quickly to communication and was very helpful.

I knew in advance that the duplex is on the top floor and there is no lift - not a problem for me personally, but something others should know. I also was aware beforehand that the bed is up a narrow staircase (and the toilet is downstairs) - this is not ideal, but was manageable.

Las escaleras de acceso muy empinadas y el apartamento era muy pequño y sobre todo muy, muy caluroso. Imposible estar en julio sin aire acondicionado, del que disponía, todo el tiempo.

PROBLEMES DE SÉCURITÉ

L'emplacement

Très gros problèmes de sécurité ! 1- L'appartement (au deuxième étage) est desservi par un escalier commun qui est en TRES mauvais état : il est actuellement maintenu par un étai central, et une note du syndic de copropriété affiché au pied de l'escalier donne l' alerte. En resumé: l'escalier est en tellement mauvais etat qu'1 seule personne à la fois n'est autorisée par volee de marches, et aucun déménagement de meubles. Quid d'un voyageur avec un gros sac à dos? Ai-je vraiment envie de "jouer avec la sécurité " quand je suis en vacances? Évidemment, personne ne nous a prévenu avant notre arrivée. 2- il n'y a pas de détecteur de fumées, il a été retiré. 3- aucune pelle/balayette disponible. Si vous cassez un verre, ramassez les morceaux à la main, peut être ? Je n'epiloguerai pas sur le fait que le sol de l'appartement est fortement en pente, que l'équipement de la cuisine est plus que minimal, qu'il y a la climatisation dans l'appartement mais il fait 15 degrés d'ecart entre le sejour et la mezzanine / "placard salle de bains". Bref: c'est un appartement refait à neuf pour les photos mais qui n'est pas pensé pour que quelqu'un puisse y vivre réellement. Quand on y ajoute les problèmes flagrants de sécurité qui ne sont pas annoncés en amont, ça donne une expérience que je ne recommande à personne.

J'ai passé un magnifique séjour !

L'appartement est bien placé par rapport aux rencontres photographiques d'Arles et des commerces. Tout est à portée de main. L'appart est propre, une bonne literie, la climatisation fonctionnait bien. Double vitrage de la fenêtre donc le calme absolu,.propice à un repos serein. Bon point. C'était ma première fois, je ne regrette pas. 👍

Personnellement, le 3ème étage est un peu trop haut pour moi (mais c'est pas mal). Rénovation de l'escalier qui serait plus rassurant...

Scale di accesso pericolanti

Posizione

Le scale per raggiungere l'appartamento (sito all'ultimo piano del palazzo) sono gravemente pericolanti e non siamo stati avvisati del rischio. Abbiamo trovato un avviso di pericolo (solo in francese!) che chiedeva di salire uno alla volta, ma non era stato comunicato prima della prenotazione. Ci siamo sentiti veramente in pericolo e non protetti come ospiti. Inoltre, l'appartamento stesso presenta problemi di sicurezza strutturale, con un pavimento in pendenza che fa dubitare della sua stabilità. Ma il problema non è solo la sicurezza: l'appartamento era anche sprovvisto dei più basilari kit di accoglienza, come carta igienica sufficiente, saponi e acqua. L'unica cosa positiva è la posizione, ma purtroppo non è sufficiente a compensare le gravi lacune nella sicurezza e nel comfort.
