About this apartment rental
Situated in the quiet but convenient area of Winklematten on the outskirts of Zermatt, this unique apartment is ideal for family holidays. The nearest bus stop is located a 2 minute walk away, and it is a 5-7 minute walk to the Klein Matterhorn cable station, and a 10 minute walk into the village centre. There is also a pop up grocery shop, a restaurant/bar and a new children's play area in the immediate vicinity.
This 3rd floor property (no lift) is set over two floors with an internal staircase between the two levels. It comprises 4 double bedrooms of which 2 can be converted to twin beds if preferred. There are 4 bath/shower rooms, one of which is ensuite. On the first floor there is a small cosy lounge with fireplace, fully equipped kitchen ( dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine etc) and a dining area with ample space for 8 guests. This leads onto a balcony with south facing views of the stunning Matterhorn and the surrounding mountain. Two of the bedrooms and bathrooms are also on this floor. There are stairs leading up to a large entertaining space with a bar, fireplace, ample comfortable seating with sofas, small dining area, office area with desk and a large TV, DVD player etc. There is a large balcony leading off from the lounge again with spectacular uninterrupted views of the Matterhorn.
