We didn’t feel safe and relax because of geckos and lizards in the villa.

Staff were very friendly. The location and view is nice. Food was good.

The doors and roof of the room was not sealed, so many geckos and lizards can enter the room specially at night, and specially in Villas.

We thought this hotel was gorgeous and well staffed. We stayed in villa 3 which had a spectacular view of the jungle and had all amenities in the room needed. The Indian food restaurant was fabulous!

It was so isolated that after a long and tiring day of sightseeing it made it difficult to go out to dinner other than on the property.

Best hotel to stay near Ubud

Fantastic hotel in the terrace paddies and overlooking a ravine and jungle. Facilities, including the two restaurants, were fantastic, and so was the staff. We had a room with our own terrace and an endless pool overlooking the jungle. Cannot recommend this hotel high enough if you are planning a visit to Ubud.

Perfect place to escape in an amazing setting.

Amazing location and facilities Quiet and peaceful which was a breath of fresh air compared to busy Ubud. The perfect place to chill out and have some private time with having crowds of typical tourists.

Seemed a little light on staff compared to other places but wasn't a real issue given the laid back vibe and quiet setting.

The facilities and the rooms

The service at the main restaurant, had to cancel some desert orders because they forgot some orders and some took 1hour +. Also had to leave our Breakfast to go because it wasn't prepared in time as agreed the night before. They have very limited staff to execute their offerings.

The Hotel was really into a remote area with no access to Markets or any restaurants, even the Breakfast options were not good they were asking for one meal per person for breakfast thats the first time I have seen in any resort, but there was an in-house Asian restaurant to the rescue for Indians or vegetarians , the taste was ok but at-least, you can have some food.. lol

Great for a relaxing get away in a natural rainforest environment

We loved our stay at Kenran. Breakfast was excellent with great variety and food at restaurant was also very good! The pool is great, scenery is beautiful and property is well maintained. Housekeeping staff were very friendly and efficient!

Due to the unique resort design, there are a lot of steps from the rooms to the restaurant/reception. The benefits of the scenery outweighed this for us, but visitors with reduced mobility may find this difficult.

This stay was something the group needed. Trees, fresh air and the zen feeling it gave you.
