Comfortable mid town apartment. Clean and modern

It was centrally located.Couch was comfortable as were the beds.Outside seating space. Fully equipped.

The bed was very hot , albeit comfortable.Mattrass covered in plastic with a very thin fitted sheet on top. The sheet kept coming off ,during the night.

Quiet location, spacious apartment - perfect when travelling with kids. We enjoyed our stay!

Spacious apartment and well equipped with very cute terrace - shame we didn’t use it as we were staying only for 1 night. Will definitely like to come back again. Thank you so much!

We like everything about the property. Maybe a bit far from all amenities in old town. But that’s nothing to do with property. So all good!

Very comfortable overnight stay

Very clear instructions were given on how to get there and access the property. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Location-wise, it is very close to the lovely botanical gardens which is great with kids. Also 5mn walk from a big supermarket. The city center is a little further away but for an overnight stay on our way to the Netherlands, it was perfect.

Bins were provided for 3 types of recycling but there was no bin or bin bags for non-recyclable things like baby diapers. There were however large containers just downstairs of the apartment so we made use of those.

Lovely flat but difficult to access.

It was clean, comfortable and had everything we wanted. It was a fair walk across the river to good bars/restaurants and attractions. The bars/restaurants (that we found) close to appartement were rather dodgy. The outdoor space was lovely, beds comfortable. The parking was good, once we had managed the access.

The WiFi was terrible. We managed a signal in one of the bedrooms but even that dropped out frequently. The outdoor stairs were maybe unsuitable for the elderly/infirm. We tried to approach by car along rue d’Elboef to turn left into the entrance but our satnav took us through one way back streets and we approached from the wrong direction. A map, diagram showing the one way streets would have been helpful. The shower worked well but water from the jets did escape all over the end wall and bathroom floor. We wanted to turn off the bathroom fan but were unable to do so, so it ran constantly.

A hidden gem

The apartment was stunning. Modern and spacious. It was very impressive. Three TVs. Fab kitchen. The balcony was lovely - just perfect for eating an evening meal. Lots of nice touches too, like breakfast offerings, hot chocolate, etc. The bedrooms we're perfect and the sofa bed was comfy. Very little to complain about.

Although it was only a short walk to and from Rouen, the walk to the Centre and back didn't feel overly safe. This is not the apartments fault of course and the apartment itself was very secure.

Short and sweet

Lovely apartment stayed here on route to the vendee for a night. Lovely clean and spacious for family.

It was a little hard to find, but it was because the parking courtyard was hiding behind a door which didn’t look like it would open. There are instructions to explain this though. And this is to be expected in an urban area.

The most tricky stay

Well-equipped and clean

The property charged me a deposit of 600 euro in advance. It is the first time when I have to do this. Also, they would charge me 50 euro if I didn't clean apartments myself. I was promised to have two single-beds and one big bed. Instead, they had two big beds, which is different from their description. Moreover, the key box code was about 12 digits, I was barely able to input that coming late at night.

Excellent accomodation for a short stay

Clean and spacious appartment. We stayed here for one night while on our way to our holiday destination. Private parking behind the building (and behind a closed fence) was nice and allowed us to leave most of our luggage in the car. About 15 to 20 minutes walk to the city centre.

When walking through the neighbourhood on our way to the city centre we noticed a lot of drunk and intoxicated persons. The direct surroundings of the appartment are not very impressive. However, once in the city centre we were positively surprised by the beautiful architecture and vibrant street life.

Not for family trips

Size of the apartment was good.

The property had metal coverings on all the windows - it felt unsafe. The location wasn't great period. It felt somewhat unsafe with kids. The portable ACs did not work well. I wanted to keep the windows open all night but was afraid people might stroll in so I kept it closed. There was a washer but no dryer so not worth using since we only stayed 1 night. We paid for 3 nights but left after 1 night because it was so uncomfortable.

Exceptional

Stunning apartment. Exactly like the pictures. Air con units put in during heat wave. Parking is totally safe and enclosed. Straight 1 mile walk into Rouen to cathedral. Boulangerie over the road. Love the private Court yard, the shower.... The space and the very large comfortable bed settee. Absolutely superb.

Een comfortabele overnachting in een ruim appartement.

Locatie was redelijk in de buurt van het centrum. Voor vijf personen is de accomodatie groot genoeg. Fijn dat er een aparte keuken is en ruime kamers. Het is modern en comfortabel ingericht. De wifi is uitstekend! In elke kamer is een tv dus alles lekker luxe. Achteraf hadden we nog wel een nachtje willen blijven.

Het vinden van de locatie was nog niet zo gemakkelijk ondanks de navigatie. Het ligt toch een beetje verscholen. Ook is niet duidelijk welke afkorting bij welk appartement hoort. En de parkeerplaatsen hebben geen corresponderende nummering. Het zou handig zijn als bij elk appartementje op een bordje de naam staat. In dit geval gebruikte de eigenaar een lettercombinatie. Het was dus een beetje een puzzel. Het senseo koffieapparaat werkte niet. Ook was er geen handleiding voor de oven. Het duurde dan ook voordat we begrepen hoe de oven werkte. We bleven er een nachtje. Voor 5 personen waren er maar 2 kleine rollen wc papier. Net te weinig.

Parfait très agréable

Appartement nickel , bien décoré, propre avec tout le confort. Super bien équipé. Je recommande sans soucis.

Difficile à trouver derrière une porte de garage en bois et mon appartement était situé à l étage et ce n était pas indiqué en bas dans la cours . Peut être que les indication étaient noté dans le lien de réservation mais pas fait attention.

Zwischenstopp in der Hauptstadt der Normandie

Wohnung war geräumig und im normalen Wohngebiet, so dass man etwas mehr von der Stadt sieht. Keine halbe Stunde zu Fuß in die City, recht belebter Weg.

Es wurde eine extra Kaution von 500€ als Vorbelastung der Kreditkarte verlangt. War mir bei Buchung nicht bewußt und deshalb etwas unangenehm. Hat aber letztlich einwandfrei funktioniert.

Ruta en familia

Apartamento precioso, decorado con mucho mimo. Estancia muy agradable, cocina equipada, con enseres de limpieza. Dos habitaciones grandes con smart TV en cada una ( otra en el comedor). Camas confortables. Es tal y como aparece informado.

Ubicación algo alejada del centro para ir andando con niños, pero hay una linea de bus que pasa justo por delante. Nuestro apartamento, los hay que están a pie, estaba subiendo unas escaleras, incómodas solo el primer y último día a la hora de subir-bajar maletas.

L appartement était propre

La localisation est peu attractive, l accès à la cour intérieure est étroit. Les terrasses des autres appartements très proches avec des occupants bruyants jusque très tard dans la nuit.

Bel appartement mais froid

L'appartement très bien équipé, très bien décoré, de très grands lits très confortables, chaque chambre a une très grande télévision !!! La cuisine est très bien. Appartement spacieux.

Manque de chauffage évident, pour des raisons d'économie il n'y avait pas le chauffage à notre arrivée (ce que je peux comprendre) mais l'appartement est grand et il faisait très froid, un des radiateurs principaux ne marchait pas, et deplus les autres sont bloqués à 19 degrés que nous n'avons jamais réussi à avoir, nous avons dû manger avec les blousons. Il n'y a pas de radiateur dans la salle de bain, il fait vraiment froid pour se doucher ! La ventilation bruyante de la salle de bain est censée s'arrêter à 21h mais elle ne s'est jamais arrêtée ! Nous avons un doute sur la propreté du linge de lit de la chambre supplémentaire. Il faudrait aussi préciser que les gros véhicules ne passent pas le portail (un van 9 places). Cela n'était pas trop grave nous avons trouvé de la place dans une rue adjacente.

Gratis parkeren op binnenplaats

In de eerste instantie lijkt de buurt wat ruig maar na wat rondlopen is het ok, gewoon een stadse oude buitenwijk. Fijn dat de auto veilig op een binnenplaats staat. Parkje en supermarkt op loopafstand. Het historisch centrum van Rouen is wel ver maar goed te bereiken met bus of tram. Door omstandigheden kregen we appartement SLT in plaats van BDE. Dat was goed gecommuniceerd door de eigenaar en dat was eigenlijk beter, want het ligt ook op de binnenplaats en is rustiger. Het appartement is heel ruim met een verdieping die is te bereiken via een steile trap. De keuken is goed uitgerust. Het dakterras ligt ingesloten tussen de daken. Snel en stabiel internet.

De eigenaar stuurt zelf veel via de mail maar reageerde niet op onze mail over een kleine lekkage in de keuken. We hadden er niet heel veel last van maar het was toch onhandig. Het beddengoed ruikt vreemd alsof het niet goed is gedroogd. Heel jammer!
