Situated on a farm in the beautiful village of Georgeham near Braunton in North Devon, Rafters Lodge offers luxurious accommodation in a wonderful countryside setting.
Step inside and you'll discover a stylish interior with stunning décor highlighted by floor to ceiling glass panels that showcase the rolling fields beyond.
A large master bedroom with its king size bed provides a sumptuous retreat from the outside world and the en-suite bathroom which is beautifully designed has a walk-in shower and a huge bath – perfect for a long, relaxing soak.
At the centre of the home is a lovely, well-equipped open-plan kitchen – ideal for home cooking; and with so much excellent local produce available in the area you'll be eager to whip up a few Devonshire inspired creations.
To the front of the lodge there's a decked patio where you'll discover a bubbling, private hot tub tucked away under the eaves - the best place from which to soak up the tranquil atmosphere and completely unwind, whatever the weather.
Rafters welcomes pets and has an enclosed garden to the rear so your four-legged friends get their own space, and the wonderful dog-friendly beaches of Saunton and Woolacombe are just a short drive away.
2 pets allowed, a fixed fee of £25 per dog for a short stay of 2-4 night stays and £40 per dog for a 7+ night stay is chargeable, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the bedroom areas.

Along with directions, the information pack was given by the owners prior to arrival which was useful. Upon arrival the lodge was spotlessly clean. The location was perfect, so quiet and peaceful. We were not overlooked by anyone - really escape. The lodge itself was well equipped and the hot tub was exactly what was needed after a day walking the stunning costal paths. Couple of pubs within walking distance, Croyde 5 mins drive away. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

It had the WOW factor!!
If you like feeling like your on your own, this is the place for you.
Our dog lola loved the open garden she had lots of space to run around it was just right.
I would definitely come back in the future...

We had such a wonderful stay at Rafters Lodge and only wish we had booked for longer.
We travelled with our two dogs, one is very anxious, so finding somewhere peaceful and secure is really important to us. This place was absolutely perfect. The location is incredibly quiet (just the sound of sheep!!) and the enclosed garden meant the dogs could relax safely, which made a huge difference for us.
One of the highlights was being able to walk straight from the lodge through beautiful countryside to the nearby beaches. It made our days of exploring so easy and enjoyable. After long walks along the coast and through the fields, coming back to the lodge and soaking in the hot tub was exactly what we needed.
There are also some fantastic local pubs within easy reach and the lodge is just a short drive from other lovely Devon towns.
Overall it was the perfect mix of peaceful countryside, great walking, and cosy comfort. We left feeling completely relaxed and would absolutely love to come back again — next time for a longer stay!

Another great stay at Rafters, well appointed with everything you need. Lovely bathroom and well appointed kitchen. Great location to explore the surroundung area. We look forward to retuning.
