Great location for exploring local areas. Both Lynton and Lynmouth are very pretty and well worth a visit. Instow is a hidden gem and very pretty as is Watersmeet. Both the Kings Arms and the Rock Inn serve delicious food (you need to book in advance). ideal base for those with furry companions or children.
Minor things let the property down and these could be easily rectified! However did not spoil our stay. . Fire’s in both room’s not working (I notice another guest had mentioned this and they stayed in January. We were only notified on journey up. It’s nice to have the opportunity to light the fire for ambience) .Unable to park directly outside of property (parking available in nearby public car park, however this was often full, so parked on road) .Chipped bowls and mugs. .Furniture particularly red chairs very tired looking. .Only one bedside table in each bedroom? .Garden needs some attention, bushes cutting back.
