Overall very relaxing.

Location was great. The outdoor space for the Barn was limited compared to the other two units both had sunny gardens. We slept really well but the whole barn needed a deep clean, cobwebs, hair in one bed, sticky foot stool and sofa, with stains on the cushion covers and the throws didnt smell like they had been cleaned ie the lounge. The hosts were great but for the money for 5 days it was overpriced. The bin storage cupboard was a bit smelly upon arrival and needs a full wash out. The description on the booking.com site is a little misleading, we should have checked the properties main website to get a better understanding of what we booked ie the manor Barn, the garden cottage or the manor cottage as the pictures represent all three units. We would go back to stay at the location but not in the Barn as it was tired and needs some TLC. There is no wood burner in the Barn although the Devon weather was great and the cold walls a blessing in the heat. Overall it was OK.

cozy, country cottage, wonderful place to switch off and relax.

in person welcome with the host, so informative and friendly - it was a great start to the stay. Provided a contact number and assured us they were available should we need anything. We were overwhelmed by how well equipped the kitchen was, we could have done some baking, cooked a roast, it was great. Also there were plenty of glasses, plates and cutlery not just 4 sets of each which was also great. The location is really peaceful and absolutely stunning however despite feeling away from it all you are only 5 minutes away from beautiful beaches, shops, etc. We visited Barnstaple, Braunton, Woolacoombe, Croyde and Arlington Manor during our stay and all were a short drive. The cottage was lovely and warm, clean and comfortable. We didn't want to leave and we will definitely book again. Thank you for such a lovely break, it was exactly what we needed. Also the spa bath is an absolute treat!

Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area. We will certainly be back.

Excellent location, very friendly and helpful hosts. The cottage was modern, clean, spacious whilst cosy and very comfortable. In our opinion, its the best place to stay when visiting the Croyde area.

Only minor issue (and given how amazing the place is, it really is such a minor issue) was the parking for the unit was quite far away from the unit itself and there is space or possibility to create space for it to be closer (in our opinion).

Very nicely designed, good taste, very well equipped kitchen, beautiful location.

We prefer harder mattresses, but recognise that's subjective.
