Clean, spacious, well equipped and a nice log fire 👌 There is a great pub just 1 minutes walk away and Jan who keeps an eye on the place is super helpful.

If I had to be really critical; the bed was comfy but the duvet and pillow just weren’t like home.

A relaxing peaceful stay in a homely, cosy property.

Beautiful village location backing into open fields and a short stroll to the local pub. So quiet too. The house was very homely, lovely and warm in the chilly evenings. Very comfy bed with thick duvet. Lovely modern bathroom with great shower and underfloor heating. Well equipped kitchen too with basics to start the visit which was helpful. Thanks for the choccy biscuits too! Close to some gorgeous beaches for walks - Putsborough and Croyde.

Great place to stay - it has facilities, nearby but is very tranquil and peaceful.

The house is at the end of a quiet asnd very ancient village. The garden backs onto fields. There are two pubs witin easy walking distance and the stunning Croyde Bay is just over 2 miles away. The house was warm and well equipped andthe host (actually his mother) came around to welcome us and see if we wanted everything. Great place to stay

Very little, the hardest thing was that we had a little trouble unlocking the parent lock on the TV!

The facilities are great. Great temp. Bed really comfortable, the sofas are a fantastic size. Kitchen is fabulous could do a full roast with ease here and not have to bring anything from home other than the food

A memorable stay in a lovely location, at the right time of year.

The location was excellent. We enjoyed every moment. The facilities couldn't have been improved upon. We enjoyed talking to the owner's father too. Lots of lovely bird life in the garden and a lovely view. We particularly enjoyed the food in the two pubs and visiting the beaches.

We only had one slightly anxious moment in that we didn't't get a message about key box code until very near to our arrival and so didn't't know whether we'd have to turn round and return home.

A lovely home backing on to open countryside

This was a lovely well proportioned home, well furnished with comfy sofas, a large dining table and great beds. There was a book case full of board games and a real fire with a supply of logs. There was a secure garden backing on to farmers fields and beautiful countryside. We were advised we could borrow surf boards and wet suits stored in the garden shed. We only stayed 3 nights but could have easily been very happy here on a two week holiday.

There was very little not to like, maybe a few more glasses for soft drinks and a few more mugs would have come in handy.

Spacious, comfortable, clean, well-equipped and nicely furnished accommodation. Hosts Jamie and Jan were very welcoming and helpful.

A comfortable cottage in a charming village.

Jamie's is located in an idyllic country village-perfect for exploring the area, on foot and by car. The local beach is magnificent at low tide, with acres of sand to scamper on. The property itself is cosy and comfortable; we loved the countryside views out of the sitting-room picture window. The local pub- The Rock Inn- does an excellent Sunday lunch.

The weather was extremely cold and the house took time to warm up.
