Situated on a farm in the beautiful village of Georgeham near Braunton in North Devon, March End lodges offer luxurious accommodation in a wonderful countryside setting.
A beautifully laid out interior is complimented by floor to ceiling windows that invite the pretty countryside views in giving the space a wonderfully calming atmosphere.
The master bedroom is furnished with a king size bed providing a relaxing retreat, with a spacious modern en-suite bathroom featuring a large bath and walk-in shower.
Central to the living space is a well-equipped open-plan kitchen ideal for whipping up a fabulous meal in; and with so much excellent local produce available in the area you may be tempted to create a few locally inspired dishes.
Outside you'll discover a decked patio where a bubbling hot tub awaits. Positioned under the eaves it makes for the perfect place to laze the hours away whilst taking in the beauty of the landscape beyond.
Thistledown Lodge is pet-friendly so the four-legged members of the family get to enjoy a wonderful break too. Featuring an enclosed garden at the back of the home and just a short drive from some of the best local dog-walking beaches in Devon, this really is the idea pet-friendly home and one we're sure you'll want to return to!
2 pets allowed, a fixed fee of £25 per dog for a short stay of 2-4 night stays and £40 per dog for a 7+ night stay is chargeable, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the bedroom areas.

Thistledown offered superb privacy in a quiet location offering two friendly pubs within walking distance. We visited in mid May and benefited from slightly fewer tourists on the roads and at the beach. Putsborough beach can easily be reached by walking if you are moderately fit. The WiFi is ‘variable’ so don’t rely on it being available but it was nice to be able to disconnect from the world. I would happily re-book.

We had a very enjoyable weekend, the lodge felt high end, private and located in a nice part of the country. We would definitely be happy to stay again.

A great place to stop, relax and unwind.
So quite and peaceful. Should there be a shower the hot tub is undercover as is the access to it.
Lovely beaches close by with Ilfracombe and Barnstable less than 30 minutes away

Thistledown lodge was extremely clean, peaceful and beautiful. The large enclosed garden was perfect for our dog and felt completely private and not over looked. The hot tub was perfect to relax in of an evening and look out over the fields.
Would highly recommend as a place to relax and de-stress. The information supplied before visit was extremely helpful and allowed us to plan exactly what we wanted to do. Will 100% be recommending to others and look forward to booking again.
