B&B Giovaldi's Torino

Room and bathroom very new and clean. Location is good as a metro station is within walking distance and brings you to the center within 10 minutes. This is a good option if you come by car and do not want to pay for parking in the city center. Contact to host during stay mainly via WhatsApp, they always answered very quickly!

The room itself has a balcony (on the ground floor) with windows. However, you cannot open a window on the balcony or in the room - so the air is not very good, even when using the AC. The only window that can be opened is in the bathroom. Nothing the host can do anything about: The neighbour upstairs from the room was quite noisy during our stay.

Amazing breakfast, very kind host and a beautiful room. The best part was the fresh and healthy breakfast. Room was very clean.

I would say the location is OK but not very good. It is a bit far from the city center. But the metro is very near.

The attention to detail was extraordinary and our hosts were so gracious. The check in process was the easiest of all, on our month long Italian adventure which made things even more enjoyable. The breakfast served in our room every morning was beyond what we expected and so delicious. Great cappuccinos and fresh pastries, yogurt, nuts, juice, prosciutto and more. The location is brilliant with the Metro 1 minute away. We cannot express how wonderful our hosts were, and they gave us a hand written note when we left! 💜 🤍💜

Aldo and his spouse are extremely gracious and attentive hosts. Aldo took the time to welcome us and to share helpful information about Torino and surrounding area. The breakfast is varied each day, very generous (much more than we could possibly eat) and complete with salty and sweet offerings. One of the best breakfasts we've had in an Italian BnB. The room is charmingly decorated and comfortable. Although located on the main floor with a large window giving on the main street, the room was quiet when the windows were closed and at night. A most enjoyable stay and highly recommended.

We stayed here for 2 nights couldn’t have made a better decision. Quite area, but only 15mins to the city. The apartment is new and super clean and we got great recommendations on what to do. Contact with the English- and French speaking landlord before arrival also was fantastic. Great breakfast. To sum up: honest, open and friendly hospitality in combination with offering a totally professional hotel/B&B atmosphere. Grazie!

Everything was absolutely perfect! The hostess are so helpful, sociable, communicative and with excellent sense of humour. The location is close to all the facilities (metro) and the breakfast was prepared by themselves according to our tastes (lactose and gluten free)

Je réponds au commentaire de l'hôtel : Je souhaite apporter des précisions concernant notre expérience dans votre établissement. Le fait d’indiquer « escaliers » sur Booking ne dispense en rien l’hôtel de prévoir une solution d’accessibilité pour les personnes en fauteuil roulant, comme une rampe amovible. En l’absence de cette information sur votre fiche, le client est en droit de penser que l’accès est possible ou qu’une alternative est prévue. Lors de notre arrivée, nous avons constaté la présence de marches. À ce moment-là, le gérant se trouvait à la fenêtre, et c’est Madame qui est descendue pour échanger avec nous. Nous lui avons confirmé qu’il était impossible d’accéder à la chambre en fauteuil roulant sans rampe ou ascenseur et nos chambres se trouvaient au sous sol, je suis rentrée pour voir. Or, vous indiquez sur Booking que toutes vos chambres sont situées au rez-de-chaussée, ce qui est faux. Ces informations sont donc trompeuses et peuvent porter préjudice à toute personne concernée par des besoins d’accessibilité. Nous avons donc décidé de signaler cette situation au service juridique, ainsi qu’à la plateforme Booking, afin que les responsabilités soient établies et que cela ne se reproduise pas. Cordialement, ------------------ Nous avions réservé une chambre pour une personne en fauteuil roulant, car l’hôtel figurait dans la catégorie accessible aux fauteuils roulants et le gérant nous avait confirmé que la douche était adaptée. À notre arrivée, nous avons constaté des escaliers pour accéder à l’hôtel et la chambre, qui se situait au sous-sol, rendant l’accès impossible pour une personne en fauteuil. Alors que sur la confirmation de réservation, il était bien mentionné que les logements sont entièrement situés au rez-de-chaussée. Le pire est que l’hôtel refuse de reconnaître son erreur et de nous rembourser, malgré l’évidence. Nous avons alors dû quitter les lieux et payer un autre hôtel en urgence. Expérience très décevante et inacceptable.

Struttura facile da raggiungere dalla stazione, zona comoda per il mio viaggio, molto pulita e ben organizzata, ottima accoglienza e gestione.

Inizierei con un elogio ai titolari, ringraziandoli per l’accoglienza e la disponibilità, anche nel guidarci in questa nostra bellissima esperienza…Riguardo la struttura la giudicherei con una sola parola che dovrebbe dire tutto “Casa”, perché è così che ci siamo sentiti…😊 Posizione ottima vicinissima alla fermata del metro Monte Grappa e ampia presenza di mezzi superiori. Molto apprezzata la colazione servita in camera e ampia scelta di prodotti molto graditi. Insomma esperienza positiva sia per il motivo per cui ci siamo recati a Torino che per l’ottima scelta della location.
