Extraordinary place with perfect location and a beautiful host, and great value for money!

Anna Maria was the perfect host. She gave all the relevant information beforehand, gave recommendations and was available during the stay all the time via Whatsapp. My room was ready early and I was able to check out later (depends on availability of course so ymmv). The location is 10/10, you are right in the center of everything and it's still quiet, a small alley with a pizza place (owner is there since 1978 or sth) and a fruit and vegetable store. Everything is super authentic. You can reach everything important in just a few minutes. The apartment is also authentic, there is everything you need and even a washing machine. I went in September so the ventilator fans were enough, it has no AC tho but it was no problem for me. Old building with thick stone walls, not too hot. I went solo, for a couple it's perfect, for a family with kids maybe a bit crowded but would also work. Value for money is absolutely great.

The Parma palace "next door" was being renovated or rebuilt so it was super noisy sometimes but of course that is not the fault of the apartment and might be finished when you visit so not really a negative thing. Also it's not at night and during the day you explore the beautiful city of Parma anyway.

Excellent stay in center of Parma!

Location in the center of Parma. The apartment has kept features of its past but has been modernized for comfort. The kitchen is well-stocked with utensils and appliances. The queen bed is very, very comfortable. The bathroom has a super exhaust fan. The unit is on the first floor up 12 stairs.

There was nothing I did not like however the apartment is more suited to a couple or a single person given the size and bed arrangement.

The location is great where you find delicious restaurants and bars just around the corner. The host offered good communication even though not fluent in English.

If you are a light sleeper you may want to bring some ear-plugs. It’s get quite hot in the apartment, even with the two fans on.

The location and the kindness of Anna.

The water heater had a somewhat limited capacity, so the shower got cold after one person using it. It was also quite noisy.

It's a cozy apartment in a very central location, convenient to visit Parma. While it is central, it is just off the main roads so pretty quiet. The host is very accommodating and nice.

You just need to be a bit careful taking showers because the hot water tank is not very big. You need a bit of time in between for the water to heat up again.

Excelente estancia en Parma

La ubicación es excelente, cerca del centro y fácil de localizar. El apartamento tiene todo lo que necesitas, muy completo, limpio y cómodo. Anna es una excelente anfitriona, te da recomendaciones de restaurantes cercanos de muy buen nivel. Gracias por los regalitos de dulces, galletitas, café y agua que teníamos en el apartamento.

Un poco de ruido en el local inferior cuando abren la frutería, pero en general todo bien.

Die Lage ist wunderbar zentral. Und dennoch in einer ruhigen Seitenstrasse. Alles in Parma ist fußläufig schnell erreichbar. Das Appartment ist groß und umfassend ausgestattet. Eine gute Wahl! Anna Maria ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, die sich sehr um das Wohlbefinden ihrer Gäste kümmert.

Wünschenswert wären größere Ablageflächen, um seine Sachen besser organisieren zu können. Der Gemüsehändler unten im Haus kann frümorgens beim Organisieren der Auslagen recht laut sein

La struttura è curata in ogni dettaglio, pulitissima e molto confortevole. Posizione ottima per visitare Parma a piedi e vivere l’atmosfera del centro. Inoltre, la proprietaria è super gentile e disponibile: si mette subito in contatto con te e spiega tutto benissimo sia per il check-in e il check-out, rendendo tutto semplice e senza stress. Esperienza incredibile, stra-consigliato!

L'esperienza all'Ombelico di Parma è stata meravigliosa. La signora Anna Maria ci ha accolto in maniera molto premurosa e comprensiva, venendoci incontro con gli orari per via dei ritardi dei treni su cui abbiamo viaggiato fino a Parma da varie parti d'Italia. La signora ci ha inoltre lasciato acqua e latte in frigo, dolcetti, brioche e capsule per il caffè e the, tutto di sua iniziativa e a consumazione gratuita! Una sorpresa inaspettata e ovviamente più che gradita. Per non parlare dei consigli sui ristoranti e della premura nel chiedere come andavano le notti e il pernottamento, ci siamo sentiti coccolati dall'inizio alla fine. L'appartamento è arredato e curato nei minimi particolari, non manca davvero nulla ed è tutto pulitissimo (le foto che allego sono scattate a fine pernottamento). Abbiamo dormito da lei in 4 per 2 notti, 2 su un letto matrimoniale molto comodo e altri 2 su un divano letto già preparato dalla signora, un po più rigido ma comunque buono per il sonno. La posizione è centralissima e perfetta per girare la città in poco tempo. Consiglio vivamente questo BnB ed è certo che torneremo da lei nel caso dovessimo tornare a Parma!
