Everything was perfect. You open the door after a long flight and they even turned on the lights in the hallway. They cleaned like a great hotel, but they only wrote beforehand that they would come to clean. They answered all my questions on WhatsApp and offered to help.

The bathroom is a bit narrow, but it was comfortable for us.

Host - 11 out of 10! Daniele wrote us every day, replied quickly, and responded to all our requests immediately. There’s also a very useful website with information not only about the apartment but also great recommendations for the neighborhood, many of which we followed. Daniele even offered to organize our airport transfer and made sure we had everything we needed for sightseeing. Cleanliness - perfection! The apartment was cleaned every two days, including towel changes and refills of coffee and tea. Each time we returned, we were welcomed by a pleasant aroma, especially after the cleaning service. Hats off to the cleaning team! Location - simply ideal! Just one minute from the metro, five minutes to La Scala, and about ten to the Duomo. The central railway station is less than 15 minutes away by metro. The street is lively during the day thanks to the many boutiques, but quiet at night. Everything you need is nearby - restaurants, shops, and all the main attractions. You’ll hardly need public transport to explore Milan properly! We’ll definitely choose Milan Retreats again for our next visit and recommend it to all our friends. Keep up the great work!

The property was only a short walk to Duomo, thus making it very convenient. The staff were very friendly and were easily contactable via WhatsApp during check in and even enquired should we require anything during our stay.

The location shown on the booking map is misleading and while you choose the apartment based on the location on the map, there are many apartments in different locations. This is what happened to me, where in the end the location was different from the one shown on the map, which was not convenient for me!

We spent 2 nights as a family of 4 with 2 teenage boys in this apartment in mid August 2025. Check -in/out We were very pleased with the early check-in around 2:30pm and an extended check-out time as this was possible for the landlord to accommodate this request for us. We have had a smooth and very helpful exchange through WhatsApp with Milan resort management who sent us a short self-explanatory video of how to enter the building and how to access the key. Location The apartment is extremely well located 6min by walk of the Duomo and main attractions. Extremely calm no noise form outside. Located on a side street yet in the middle of the action. The apartment The apartment was much larger than expected (huge living room in which you could add sleeping) and very clean. You can tell it is being remodeled : paint and wooden floors seemed new. Still need some improvement but definitely functional and comfortable. Bedding and bed were really great. Our stay was in the middle of a heat wave. Upon check-in we noticed that central A/C struggled a bit to keep up. 15 minutes after arrival without contacting Milan resort management 2 staff members came over with 3 fan units and fresh bottled water to help until the apartment cooled down. Through the whole process we had very kind and productive communication in English on WhatsApp. Besides from getting compensated for the inconvenience it was really nice to feel understood. We highly recommend Milan resort and this apartment. My personal traveling experience has taught me that it is more valuable knowing that whatever glitch you come across, your host/hotel/management will find a solution for you than everything being neat in the first place. We will hopefully go back to Milan part of it because we found a nice apartment with high level service standard.

Nothing, the flat is so old and in desperate need of refurbishing

This is the worst place I’ve ever stayed in, it’s nothing like the pictures, the flooring is cracked open and infested with ants, I’m very disappointed with my experience here

Good standard, very central location, excellent customer service available via WhatsApp (better than receptions at many top hotels in terms of responsiveness and availability - I asked for a change of bedding and it was done very quickly).

This property is a renovated home that has been done exceptionally well. The decor and finishes our top rate. There’s been a lot of thought and attention to detail.

Great communication from Milan Retreats right from the time of booking until the end of the stay. The location is fantastic, just a few steps away from the Duomo. Comfortable bed. Kitchen was well stocked. A/C was working perfectly.

Perfect location.

The location was amazing, close to the Duomo, Castle and all the museums! We loved the restaurants in Brera, especially Ristorante Stendhal. The elevator was wonderful, not only to get our luggage to the room, but also after a long day of sightseeing and shopping. The room had everything we needed and more - a comfortable bed, good pressure in the shower and a well appointed kitchen. Everything was beautifully clean. A special shout out to our hosts, the communication was brilliant. They contacted us everyday to see if we needed anything. Thank you very much.

It was OK but could do with a bit of a refurbish

It is very centrally located. Although we never met our "host" he was online and very responsive to all out questions and needs. Its a place with character - especially the building They gave us a clean mid stay which was cool as there was no broom etc,

The flat was ok but could have done with some coats of paint. It was also poor ergonomically. For example there was a toaster, a coffee machine a kettle and a micro which is great but they all went into an adapter that is basically just a tumble of wires under a table - there was not enough room for all of them so you had to choose. The kitchen was long and narrow in what I guess was a passageway before it was converted to a flat. We also had limited cleaning equipment, but as noted they sent someone to clean it for us which was really nice. Considering the price we expected the flat to be a bit better. You should also note there is a bunch of different properties at different addresses all listed in booking as "Milan Retreats" so the stars you see are an aggregate for different apartments.

Amazing clean comfortable accommodation in the heart of Duomo.

had the most amazing stay at this property. From the moment on checking in to departing. Communication was second to none and regularly checked in on how I was getting on. Helpful in advising on local restaurant and answered any questions that were put to me. I would have no hesitations in recommending this accommodation to anyone whether on a work visit or holiday.

The agent is very friendly and helpful. Great location. I especially liked the locks on the doors with the combination locks. No key except the outside gate key to keep track of.

The full length mirror was hung horizontally and too high up, so basically useless in that position. Would have been much better hung vertically so we can see our whole self. The toilet seat was the wrong shape and size for the toilet.

unorganised, arrived at accommodation location and was told we need to walk 25 min to another destination to leave luggage. then walk back to pick up and repeat the same distance to the accommodation. Accommodation did not match description. no terrace or balcony. Smelled like canal/shit at times due to pipes Paid 700 eur for 3 days for smell of shit and claustrophobic attic room
