Perfect stay at the most cosy place

It was a beautiful looking pub, the staff were so lovely, we were greeted by the manager who was so welcoming and showed us to our room which was decorated beautifully, the bed was incredibly comfortable, it was so cosy, we had a little welcoming basket which was filled with delicious treats! It was so clean, smelled clean! Absolutely outstanding for such an affordable price! I would definitely recommend this property

Lovely place in a quiet village location. I would stay again for sure but would eat elsewhere to be honest.

Very cozy with a mix of old style buildings but nicely modernized. Bed was huge and comfy. Nice inside the pub and good outside area. The young lady who checked us in and served breakfast was lovely. Brekky was good and included in our stay which I didn’t think it was so bonus there.

Food was overpriced and not the greatest for what you pay. I enjoyed my Gammon, but the pizza we ordered wasn’t good at all. Seemed to be a frozen pizza and cost £13. You get much better in Iceland for less than £3!

Overall lovely little place.

Lovely little place. Nice room. Lovely location. Few minutes drive to hoo zoo if you have an experience booked.

Response time to emails etc is quite slow. Tables felt quite sticky. We were sat next to a faux plant that was covered in dust. Not appealing when eating. Not a great range of gluten free options for meals.

The location.

The room was very cold even with the radiator on but we were provided with a mini heater. The bed was quite low but comfortable.

Great quality

Lovely room. Food excellent. Staff lovely! Restaurant service too rushed for us & decor a bit tired in places downstairs. Didn’t tell us there would be a band playing, which wasn’t a problem for us, but may have been for others. Proper coffee in the room next time please.

A very enjoyable stay and a restful experience in the working week.

Location for business. Quality of the outside areas, bar and restaurant were very good. Room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast with Jim the chef was fabulous.

Small things but they attending to. The hotel was refurbished a few ago and in places it shows. Bathroom floor is breaking up a little, just needs a repair. Bath plug hole was badly stained and needs a good clean, easy if you check properly.

Great to see a young staff who were all excellent, professional and friendly. A busy pub with lots of locals, always a good sign. Good food and a good wine list also.

Great location for where I needed to be. I am generally up early and out by 7, so its hard to find a hotel with breakfast in the area. Great that the Queen's were able to do breakdfast. It's all very British B&B style.....as one might expect(!)

Everything about this place was superb. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfy. We slept well. The food was delicious, we had breakfast and dinner. The atmosphere and vibe were so warm.

I honestly can't think of anything. If you are expecting a silent night then this probably isn't for you. Noise stopped at around 11.30pm as the pub settled down. It wasn't overly loud though.
