Familial atmosphere, personal very kind and listening to it, the person are very respectful except to clean their dishes in the kitchen. Activities every day fun The staff give a lot of advices that help you to enjoy your trip Breakfast is included in the price. the room/toilette and shower are clean. Kitchen is good equipped Bed are confortable, in each bunk bed there is a lamp, 2 electrical outlet and a fan. The A.C works during the night. A bar is available with many choices of drink

- breakfast isn't varied. It would be nice if everyday it isn't the same breakfast. - wifi is good only if there isn't a lot of person connected - it would be nice if the person would have more respect in the kitchen and wash their dishes. --> storage box could be an option to have more order. - repair the safebox in the room that we can close it with the locker.

Fun, relaxing and social stay!

Loved this hostel so much! The staff and the people were amazing! Social and activities run most days. The location was good, close enough to the beach and town. would definitely stay again!

Exceptional

This hostel is the best in every way you can imagine. The rooms are always super clean and the stuff is extremely nice. Every day we do activities like a Mexican Party or a family dinner where we can eat the best food cooked by Julio and Diego. The hostel also has a pool and a Bar were you can get the best drinks. Everybody in the hostel is lovely and I would definitely recommend to go there.

The volunteers and the vibe in general are great, I felt part of the family really quick, Julio cooking and Esme cocktails are definitely the best! Healthy breakfast included and the pool is amazing, always clean, I'll be back for sure!

Wonderful

The location is a bit ‘farther’ away but that is what I liked most, not a lot of tourists, mexican prices for food :D and the nicest beach (Carrizalillo) is only 15 minutes walking. The hostel itself has a great vibe, the pool is amazing and the drinks are delicious. The breakfast is kind of basic, but nutritional :)

I had an awesome time in Nopalero hostal. The staff made me feel at home directly and that is really important to me. The vibe was amazing and I met loads of nice people here. The location is perfect between the beach and the centre. And if you don't feel like doing something during the day you can easily chill the whole day in and around the pool. There are great activities every day but the ones where we cooked with the whole hostel i liked the most.

Decent hostel.

The staff are brilliant and do lots of activities you get included in, such as parties, beach volleyball, yoga, karaoke. It's not a party hostel it's very chill, which is what I like, but they do throw parties with their sister hostel puerto dreams so you can still party while still having a quiet place to sleep and relax when needed. The kitchen is huge so nice to cook in. And the bathrooms are clean. I stayed at another hostel during my time here but came back to Nopalero as it was alot better for the price range.

The location is further away than other hostels, but not by loads, I'd say this was the thing I liked least though, as it can get super hot to walk in, although taxis are very cheap.

Great place

Location is great because it is on a nice and calm neighborhood with lots of things around, but still quiet and chill. I like Nopalero because I get to meet new people from all around the world, beds are comfortable and price is right. Staff is super cool: Julio is a great cook and Mariana is really cool.

A Lovely Hostel!

The atmosphere is very friendly, cultivated by the extremely inclusive and helpful members of staff. There is a WhatsApp group guests can join upon arrival which is used to advertise daily activities and encourages a communal and fun environment. Furthermore, I have had some of my best sleeps in Mexico here! This is due to the private nature of the dorm beds and air con that is activated at night. The hostel boasts a little on-site bar where events are hosted, such as karaoke - what’s not to like?? Besides this, they are currently building a pool which will be a lovely addition to the relaxed and sociable home-like community. Thank you Nopalero for a wonderful stay!

Best hostel

Everything was perfect, best hostel I've ever been so far. The staff is awesome, they are available and super fun which makes the experience very special so thanks to Julio, Enrique and Mariana I'm gonna really miss you. They improvise some activities (cooking together, putting karaoke, showing the playa). The place is clean and cleaned everyday. Soon they will put back the hamacs and the swimming pool. It will be awesome ! They speak a bunch of different languages, especially Marianna ! There is always music and they have excellent taste and you will discover super nice songs ! Every night we had activities, if you are alone..or a group ..or couple you should go there !

It was unbearable heat in May. And the a/c was on just at night, it was poor, not able cool the room. Slept bad there. The Wi-Fi was bad. Far away from the beach.

El personal porqué se esfuerza por ser amable pero el lugar no los ayuda

Varias cosas no me gustaron, la primera y más importante, lamentablemente los cargadores de teléfono de las camas no funcionan, no funcionó el de la cama de las cuatro personas con las que fui. No me gustó tampoco que te puedes quedar sin agua a primera hora de la mañana, entonces no podrás hablar con nadie, ni siquiera pude ducharme o lavarme los dientes, tuve que ingeniármela y eso se me hizo horrible
