Beachfront Villa in a beautiful and secured complex

Die Lage war sehr gut, da man schnell etwas einkaufen konnte und zum Strand nur einmal über die Straße musste. Umliegend gibt es auch eine gute Eisdiele, Pizzeria, Patisserie mit gutem Kaffee/Cappuccino und ein paar Geschäfte für Souvenirs. Das Haus war gemütlich und geräumig. Der Zugang über eine Keybox war unkompliziert und weitere Handtücher wurden auf Wunsch gebracht. Zudem gibt es dort Katzen, was die Kinder gefreut hat.

Lediglich der 1. Pool (wärmer, mehr Sonne und gut besucht) war immer dreckig und der 2. Pool (kälter, mehr Schatten) hatte irgendeine Chemie drin, wo man sich fragen sollte wie man lange drin bleiben will.

I liked the size of the villa and the appliances it had. The toaster broke but was replaced straight away. The proximity to the beach was excellent.

Some of the outside furniture was worn and old. One of the pools was dirty on some days.

The location , central to all amenities, only few minutes walk to the beach, although we did not go often as we visited other parts of the island.

The swimming pool got crowded at times, and no space to relax around the swimming pool and not very clean at times. No gate in front on the villa and if you have a small child who runs around and cars drive quite fast around the complex. Also couple of days after we arrived I wanted to change the bed sheets and found that the mattress covers were not clean and stained, which was reported to the host, he apologised and had all the beddings changed with new ones.🙏🏼 pots and pans were all scratched and old, I bought couple for my own use as we had a child with us and scratch non stick pots are not safe to cook food in. One incident that really offended was one morning, both my husband and I had a shower and nothing was broken, I went out to the beach with my grandson and left the cleaner in the villa, after 30 mins I received a text from the host accusing me of breaking a shower head, I did not even know which one of the three showers he was talking about! I returned to the villa and the cleaner told me that she found the head broken! Then the host called me and accused me again of breaking the shower head, which I replaced with a brand new one!! And it addition he told me not to call him anymore for any problem, citing the bed linens and I also called him when there was a power cut and did not know what to do. His answer was to go outside and checked if the neighbours had electricity, if not I just had to wait! There were no instructions in the the villa as to what to do in case of power cut or emergencies, and as I did not know what to do I called him. Also I was expected to pay €10/hr (well above the local rate!) but he offered the cleaning services x2 and after the shower in incident, I declined any further cleaning services. We did our own cleaning.
