Perla

Walter and Sonora were delightful hosts when six of us came to stay at the In Urbe apartments in Via Giulia for a singing week. From before we arrived, to the time of our departure, they were friendly and communicative, obliging and helpful, volunteering their help right from the start, enabling us to relax straightaway. The apartments themselves were very comfortable, and just right for us, from comfortable beds to scrupulously clean rooms and well-appointed kitchens, we wanted for nothing. The location was perfect for us as we had to get to the rehearsal venue nearby every morning, and with shops, cafes and restaurants less than 10 minutes away we were well situated for all our needs. We couldn’t believe how good our accommodation was, and would highly recommend In Urbe to anyone looking to stay in Spello.

Spello is a wonderful Umbrian hilltop town with a charming view down every lane. The apartment is in a character building at the edge of the village with beautiful views over the surrounding valley. The host was lovely and very friendly. The room is nicely appointed with a good bathroom. The town is small so everything is walkable.

The room was a little tighter than expected, with sofa opposite kitchen counter. It didn't matter for the couple of nights we were there. Also, we were confused by the instructions on arrival. We didn't understand that we needed to park the car and walk the rest of the way. The host came up to meet us and walked down with us, which was very helpful.
