Beautiful apartment with rooftop terrace

Charming, bright, clean, spacious apartment near Porto Consolare in Spello. Great location near supermarket and train station. Monica and Sonia super friendly and helpful.

Beautiful little village - loved Spello.

Cute apartment in the old town. Great location. Monica the host met us on arrival and helped with parking and luggage. She also gave us some great information on things to do and great restaurant recommendations.

Bar downstairs very noisy, most nights music on very loud till midnight.

Perfect Spello stay

The Spello House is the best accommodation I’ve had the pleasure of staying at in years — beautifully decorated, perfect location (inside the city, but no need to hike up the massive hill), and gorgeous views of the city and surrounding countryside. But beyond location, it’s clear how much thought the hosts put into the apartment. They were kind enough to provide cooking basics, laundry detergent, and the like — far beyond what I expected. Every detail made for an easy, enjoyable stay. Sonia was incredibly kind and shared lots of local recommendations as well. Spello House was the highlight of my trip, I can’t wait to return one day.

One of our best weeks in Italy.

Sonia is an amazing host. Met us at the car park to save a parking space and help with our bags. The apartment is shabby chic and beautifully done spacious with all the mod cons. It is situated in the old town which is perfect to wander and get lost.

Sonia sent us links to a lot of towns to visit and restaurants in the area which helped a lot. Definitely a great location and lovely apartment I recommend it highly.

Perfection! Heavenly!

We stayed at the Spello House a few weeks ago and, as I sit here to write this review, I find it difficult to aptly describe the outstanding experience we had while we were there! So outstanding in fact that we extended our stay by several days. Truth be told, I could have stayed there for the full two weeks we were in Italy—or maybe for a lifetime! From the perfect, above-and-beyond communication with our kind hostess Monica, before, during, and after our time there, to sweet Sonia who greeted us at the parking lot, carried my bags to the house and up the stairs and gave us a thorough orientation; to the house itself—every room, so well-appointed and charming; the bedrooms were spacious and luxurious; the kitchen was amazingly large and well-equipped with the added and unexpected bonus of finding a pantry and refrigerator full of wonderful foods and beverages (including a delicious bottle of wine!); every window opened to a lovely vista and the covered, penthouse patio on the roof was the ultimate! We spent every evening there and loved it, feeling so immersed in this ancient town and its Italian history and culture. I have never enjoyed the cooing of pigeons more! The location was perfect for long, leisurely strolls through the cobblestone streets of Spello with its lovely flower displays on the walls, stoops and steps of almost every home and business, great for a quick amble to nearby restaurants, and perfect as a jumping off point to visit other nearby Umbrian towns like Perugia, Assisi, Spoleto and others. But, after a day’s adventures, we were very happy to return “home,” to the Spello House. I will always be grateful for this experience. Thank you to Monica and Sonia for going above and beyond to make it so special!

Everything was perfect! :)

Perfecto! Monica and Sonia are wonderful attentive hosts! They provided great restaurant recommendations. The apartment home is beautiful! It’s furnished with all the necessities in kitchen, living room, bathrooms and comfortable beds. The private balcony views are stunning during the day and evening. Looking forward to staying again! Location, location.

The location in Spello within the walls and in the whole area was fabulous! It was very easy to visit all the local towns such as Spoleto, Perugia, Trevi, Gubbio & Bevagna.The terrace was beautiful! A great panorama! Everything was very generously provided, including a welcome pack & bottle of wine.

The only issues were opening the apartment door & the many steps to reach the apartment.

Exceptional

Loved this place. We were picked up by our host at the station which was unexpected and very much appreciated as we had 2 young kids and all our bags. We arrived to a full pantry and fridge and freshly baked cake. The apartment is beautifully decorated, and the balcony is the best place to sit with a glass of wine. Loved it here, would highly recommend!
