Lovely friendly cosy b&b

very nice continental breakfast included. we had the superior bedroom with the bath was very nice size. The owners were very nice. Helpful and accommodating. Right in the town but on a quiet side road . could have asked for breakfast to have been brought to room if we wished which was a nice touch but met friends in the little dining room

Not a great deal to do in Braunton otherwise we would go back to the b and b again though. Small b and b , so didn't warrant a little bar but would have been good to have there too

Wonderful in a lovely building with friendly welcome, would recommend for others to stay there..

The check in with keys left out for us, the lovely room, with big en-suite with lovely modern facilities. Very comfy single beds and luxury bedding with plenty of cushions and pillows. Also having a chair to sit in for tv was great. Also liked the history of the house in hallway with pictures of previous families who had lived there.

We loved most things, but possibly two chairs for a double room so both adults had one rather than a single chair and window seat. Also a slightly bigger tv to make viewing easier and WiFi password in room so we didn’t have to go downstairs to find it.

Great hotel run by genuinely good people

Very friendly and helpful owner. Great location for local pubs & eateries - and for enjoying North Devon generally. Comfortable room and perfectly adequate continental breakfast (I’d always eat the full fat English breakfast if included, but this was really all we needed and was great quality). Overall this was a great experience and we wish the owners every success.

A minor point in the interest of full, well meaning and open feedback - and given how good everything was. I would have appreciated the room being serviced during our stay. Just smooth over the bed and top up the tea and coffee if needed. I realise there’s a trend towards not doing this within the hotel industry. But I object to it (though in the nicest possible way in the case of this hotel)

A good stay with a very comfy bed.

Goof location and very pleasant landlord

There appeared to be cost savings on some items such as coffee pods and jam at breakfast. I would prefer to pay a little more for better quality, Often the old marketing adage applies - cost of unbranded ketchup 2p, cost of Heinz 3p. These are the little things that get noticed.

Great base for our adventure.

Perfect location for SWCP & Tara trail. Braunton had a fantastic choice of eateries. Hosts were friendly & room was spacious & well fitted. Loads of hot water & comfy beds.

The parking was snug but manageable. Although the continental breakfast was generous, I would have liked some variety of pastries & cereal over the 3 days.

We've very much enjoyed our stay! The room was lovely & comfortable & the breakfast was amazing! The owner was welcoming & shared lots of local knowledge. We would not hesitate to recommend The Brookfield & hope that we might return at some point in the future!

Fabulous

The owner greeted us on arrival and was extremely welcoming and helpful. The room was a very generous size as was the en suite. There was a communal lounge with books and board games, a breakfast area in the conservatory with a complimentary coffee machine with syrups, shortbread and marshmallows. There was even cake available in the lounge for guests to help themselves. The beds were amazingly comfortable and the location was far enough away from the main street so as not to be noisy but only a 2 min walk. Owner was really helpful with advising where local amenities were. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to other people.

We only stayed one night and everything exceeded our expectations and was perfect for what we needed. I don't have any negatives.

Only had an overnight stay but would have liked to stay longer. Comfortable bed, clean room and facilities. House was attractive with good lounge, conservatory and garden. Very close to Braunton eating places. Good welcome and even though we had not booked breakfast, invited us down for tea and toast .

Superb place

This Guesr house was beautiful. Very clean, the bed was the comfiest bed I have ever slept in. The staff were nice and friendly, and the continental breakfast was a refreshing change from traditional. Loved it. We will be there again next year.

Everything was easy, friendly, a great central spot to explore this part of North Devon

Room was very clean, spacious. Lovely shower. Host very welcoming. Very easy to walk into town -5 minutes and close to Tesco. Road was quiet

A wonderful stay with the most helpful hosts

We were suddenly faced with bringing our children rather than having a romantic stay with just the two of us. I phoned the hosts and they couldn't have been more helpful - sorting out extra bedding, breakfast and a general welcome. Without this, we may have had to cancel, so we were very grateful. On top of that, the facilities were spotless and the building itself is very attractive. Highly recommended!

The perfect place for my stay in Braunton.

The welcome was friendly and the room very spacious. There is a nice sitting room and conservatory for guests to use as well as a pretty outside seating area. It's all beautifully decorated with many original features and was very clean. Continental breakfast is plentiful and of good quality. The location is convenient with local amenities and eateries within easy walking distance.

Great place

Room was lovely, warm with loads of light, and the shower was hot. Location is perfect with lots of eating places within 5 mins walk and the beach only about 5 mins drive. It was good that it has parking as well as the street where it is on, there wasn't a lot of parking on street available.
