Location is fab - so close to beach. Swimming pool was the high light. Evening entertainment and meals. Staff were friendly.

Swimming pool chlorine levels seemed very high - caused my skin to react. Not enough hooks on walls for wet coats / outdoor wear. Charging full amount for toddlers breakfast when all they had was a bowl of cereal. Seemed unfair.

Great place for a holiday.

Great location, plenty of things to do when the weather is great. Food was great, staff great and generally a lovely place to holiday.

The only thing that would have been nice was a place we could clean and hang the wetsuits up to dry, there was a shower to clean sand off your feet, but a tap and hose would be great and maybe a line somewhere for people who stay in the hotel.

We had a very enjoyable stay, staff, accommodation was excellent and we would gladly return!

Staff were all very friendly and helpful Food was great and location ideal especially for the beach. My husband has a mobility scooter and he was able to access the dining room very well, so would definitely recommend the venue if someone has a disability.

Very comfortable room, nice food and good breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful with gluten free requests, and in general. Parking excellent.

It’s designed for a lot of people so a long walk to our room but still a good stay. A bit hard to find as a few places have similar names and Maps couldn’t cope but had we used the postcode we would have been ok.

A very comfortable and relaxing place to spend a few days.

We were so impressed by everything: the staff, the facilities, the location, the organisation. We will definitely return. The staff were particularly impressive, very friendly and helpful but also genuinely interested in their guests having a good time and being made to feel welcomed.

Great location

Location is brilliant in one of the best coastal villages in Devon. Walking distance to beach, cafe and the village for pubs and amenities.

Room was fairly basic and pool / sauna and steam room are a little tired in the resort.

A lovely cottage in a perfect location

The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and the village. Parking and check-in were really straightforward, which made everything easy from the start. The cottage itself was lovely overall and we had a great stay.

The only downside was the dining chairs, which were a bit tired as the seats had worn down so it felt like sitting on the wooden frame. A couple more hand towels and an extra tea towel would have been useful (the kitchen was otherwise really well stocked). It also would have been handy if the main bedroom could be set up as the twin room rather than the guest bedroom.

Great hotel!

The bed was very comfy, great sized room, pool looked lovely and the staff were notably friendly and helpful. Great location too and free parking and access to facilities before and after checking in and out which was appreciated. TV had access to streaming services which helped us relax after a busy day in Croyde. The room was clean and tidy, comfortable and there was access to seating outside. Added breakfast and it was tasty and a nice selection, perfect hotel brekkie. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel.

We were on the ground floor of the hotel and could hear the people above us which woke us up in the morning early. Would consider an upstairs room or a lodge next time.

The staff were so helpful, friendly , kind and welcoming. The room was amazing, spacious and so well laid out. Best family hotel room so far.

Only suggestions - I would advise maybe another bath mat and perhaps a place to dry beach towels or body boarding wetsuits perhaps in the bathroom.

Great Location, ample parking, excellent staff, and superb facilities. Good-sized rooms and a kitchenette. Loads to do at the resort, but also a short drive (all be it single lane country roads) around North Devon. Quick walk into Croyde village.

Not excellent beach access, but a short walk to the nearest campsite offers a nicer beach access option.

Genuinely a lovely place for a holiday, would defo return

Our room was spacious and everything was super close by. The pool attendant was mega helpful! The dude who served our food and took our orders was very helpful and polite. Internet speeds are amazing. Breakfast was perfect.

The bars inside were closed during the day, not ideal when we’re on holiday?! The evening entertainment wasn’t great, we stopped by the kids disco and they defo need to up that game. Instead of actual entertainers they had them on a tv screen on stage.

Croyde bay resort makes you feel welcome

Very friendly staff, and always happy to help, no issues at all, great location for the beech, lots of amenities and nice pool for kids after being out. The breakfast was good quality. For the cost for 6 days was very competitive so very happy.

Bit dated in the lodge we stayed but there are newer ones which I didn’t research.

Great place for families of all ages, to do as much or as little as you want.

We were self catering, but did eat a couple of times in the in-house restaurant which was very good, staff very polite & friendly. Lots of available activities to do on site and close by surf beach. Gardens are a credit to the gardeners

Lovely stay, hotel was perfect with great facilities.

The room was tidy, clean, and in a quiet location. Location to the beach was about 5 minutes away. We ate dinner at the Bay Restaurant and the staff were friendly and helpful, decent sized meals too. Late afternoon we used the swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna rooms, and it felt very relaxing.

It would have been good to maybe have a sink in the room to fill the kettle up, rather than using the bathroom sink all the time.

Accommodation was great, staff were very friendly, generally quiet although there were a few young people running around making a noise near the play area around 11pm but there are quieter areas of the park to stay. I would highly recommend

Wasn't a problem but would have preferred to be in a quieter cottage if possible away from the play area but that is personal choice not a reflection on the park
