Barskoon Guest House

The owners are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was really tasty. Views are beautiful and the room is very comfortable

It's a little far from the town center, so if you would like to go to some restaurant or cafe it will be a long but as well beautiful walk:))

Very clean with a nice view of the lake from the hillside. Family run operation and they will take care of breakfast and dinner for you. They are expanding and the newer facilities look nice.

If you don’t have your own car it is too far to walk from the highway. You can go to a local shop in town and ask them to call a taxi for you (150som)

For the price, I couldn't imagine what I got. The yurt was spacious and lovely inside. 6 beds and clean, new bathroom and shower facilities right next door. Kindest family - they insisted I have dinner with them. This is where I am coming back when I am in the area next time!

The guesthouse is well located at the beginning of Barskoon valley.

Due to some technical issues we were placed not in our reserved rooms but in an unfinished house. There were live electricity wires sticking out of the wall and in 1 room, the light was not switching. I had to pull wires to switch off the light. The bathroom was not really clean and around the entrance of the house there were building materials and drying concrete. The whole unfinished building was unsafe, but also full of tourists. A bizarre situation. Breakfast and meals were very simple at best, the eating room not clean, sticky and when staff was notified of something missing, they were clearly annoyed. The only enthusiasm was when asking for a good review.
