Guesthouse Alamin

The hosts were very friendly and supportive. They spoke great English, so the communication was easy. We went for the three-day Ala-Kul trek and booked a night before and after. In the meanwhile, we were able to leave most luggage at the house, which was very convenient. All in all, we felt very much at home. Would definitely come again!

It is a bit further from the city centre, so one has to walk around 20-30 min.

Incredible stay! My favorite in Kyrgyzstan. Exceptionally clean and spacious. Plenty of covered room for motorcycles and one truck even. There is a covered outdoor seating area looking out to a beautiful garden and the mountains beyond. Two rooms, one with a double bed. Separate bathroom and shower to help with congestion. Beautifully IKEA type kitchen. The family hosting are the true gem. Fantastic English and very knowledgeable about the country and area. So many stories about this area if you get them talking. Really miss them. So sweet and kind. Pretty much fluent in English. Can’t really ask for a better experience while in Karakol. 🙌🏼 Thank you so much and hope to see you both soon!

Extraordinärt trevlig värd. Värden och hennes dotter visade gäst vänlighet jag inte trodde var möjligt. Helt otroligt.

Everything! I ended up coming back and staying a little longer, and it made my time in Karakol even more special and comfortable. This place truly feels like home, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best places to stay in Karakol! 🤍
