Nice little flat in a great location

Excellent location, close to the seafront and the corner shop. Very quiet.

The bedroom was very bright which caused us to wake up between 5 and 6 am. Had we known we would have brought sleeping masks. The bed was very soft, so it was difficult to turn around without making your partner bounce and wake up. It was a bit difficult to eat without a table and chairs. A small one with 2 chairs would have fitted in by the window. As this is standard equipment in Europe, I haven't noticed the lack of it on the photos. So we had to eat the british way and balance things on the tray on the lap.

Clean and cosy flat in a quiet residential street. It is rather wee but we only had small bags for a short road trip so that wasn't an issue. It's well furnished for the size and has everything you need for a few days. Instructions to access the key were clear and easy to follow and we always found on-street parking nearby. Cellardyke is a great base for exploring the East Neuk and lots of amenities are only a short walk or drive away.

Just minor points, but a larger bathroom mirror that works for people of all heights would be great. The bathroom (and in particular the shower) lacks space to put your things (the shelving around the sink is quite narrow, far down and starting to rust). A lot of the leaflets and the framed letting licence in the sitting room are out of date and should be reviewed.
