Definire "atipici" questi alloggi è riduttivo: ospitano un affascinante insieme di oggetti curiosi, cartelli spiritosi e foto personali dei proprietari, che diventeranno sicuramente un'attrazione da fotografare durante il viaggio. Il prezzo è molto conveniente e il parcheggio è disponibile proprio di fronte. Il proprietario abita nelle vicinanze ed è estremamente disponibile nel fornire informazioni, assistere con il parcheggio e illustrare la struttura e i dintorni. Il centro cittadino è a circa un quarto d'ora di camminata.

Gli spazi interni sono ridotti; la camera dispone solo di una finestrella a livello della strada che è preferibile mantenere chiusa e l'abbondanza di arredi limita la libertà di movimento. Anche il bagno è esterno e privo di aerazione naturale. Lo consiglio vivamente per un soggiorno di una sola notte, mentre avrei qualche riserva per tappe più lunghe.

Unfortunately, the sink in the room had an eggy drain smell during our stay, and a strong-smelling electric diffuser was in place. The odour was very strong to the point that I struggled to sleep. The building isn't quite what I had imagined from the description for this room, it is very obvious when you enter that the property is also used for specific types of parties. If you google 'Secret Room Tournai' you will get the drift. Not really an issue for us as an adult couple. The shared toilet was a little uncomfortable due to the close proximity of an unnecessary urinal to the loo and no hand soap.
