La sympathie et l'accueil de Nico. Il nous a fait découvrir son univers très surprenant, unique et amusant... un vrai petit musée qui vous dépayse d'un coup. Il nous a très bien aiguillés pour les évènements organisés à Tournai lors de notre séjour. La chambre était équipée d'un bon ventilateur et franchement, malgré la chaleur nous y avons bien dormi. La petite fenêtre en oscillo-battant permet d'avoir de l'air frais. Il y avait tout le nécessaire et même des petits pains aux pépites de chocolat pour celui qui n'a rien prévu au petit déj. Café, thé, espace repas avec micro-ondes à dispositon. Nico nous a également donné une grande bouteille d'eau; un geste que nous avons apprécié. L'emplacement est idéal, à 10 min à pieds du centre, permet de dormir au calme tout en profitant de la ville. D'ailleurs on passe par un grand parc pour y aller; c'est très joli ! Rapport qualité-prix imbattable !

Accueil chaleureux. Assez au large et la décoration est marrante et bien pensée (mais pas trop pour des enfants !). Très confortable. Choix de boissons bien appréciables quand on arrive de balade.

Suite à une canicule exceptionnelle la semaine précédente, le bâtiment avait accumulé la chaleur et il faisait un peu trop chaud. Le ventilateur fut le bienvenu avant que la fin de nuit ne vienne rafraîchir l'atmosphère.

An interesting property that is good value for money and convenient for the town centre or if you are stopping over on the way to somewhere else. The host was nice and obviously proud of his property. Which is very clean and entertaining in its design. The bed is very comfortable.

Unfortunately, the sink in the room had an eggy drain smell during our stay, and a strong-smelling electric diffuser was in place. The odour was very strong to the point that I struggled to sleep. The building isn't quite what I had imagined from the description for this room, it is very obvious when you enter that the property is also used for specific types of parties. If you google 'Secret Room Tournai' you will get the drift. Not really an issue for us as an adult couple. The shared toilet was a little uncomfortable due to the close proximity of an unnecessary urinal to the loo and no hand soap.
