Lovely cottage to stay in a beautiful area not too far from Hermanus. Totally worth the price.
No WiFi in the cottage. You need to go to the office nearby to get connected there.

Accommodation was comfortable and provided everything needed for self catering. Very peaceful and a good place to get away from it all in beautiful surroundings.
Would have liked wifi in the cottage as my cell phone signal coverage was very weak or non existent around the cottage. The office area where wifi was avaialable was quite a long way from the cottage so not convenient.

Location- Such a tranquil quiet refuge up Hemel and Aarde valley and its many vineyards but close to Hermanus and all its attractions
Comfortable rustic self contained cottages offering independence and beautiful views
Impersonal reception where never had human contact with anyone
My cottage quite hot on arrival but easy to create through draft with open windows so quickly improved

The property itself is beautiful in the mountains, and the location is perfect for Hemel en Arde visits!
It seems the property is usually used as some sort of religious rehabilitation facility - on entering there is a big sign about healing broken people, and their are religious pamphlets etc everywhere. Not what we were planning for our lovely family trip to the Hemel en aarde!
