9 Green Lane was a beautiful place to stay- clean, quiet and comfortable, with a convenient location close to the town and to Poole’s Cavern and the Country Park. The owners Rupert and Caroline were friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were absolutely fantastic, with excellent choices for vegetarians which I really appreciated.

The location as a gateway to Peak District is superb. The restaurants in Buxton are very good, the food is really tasty, not forget to book in advance your table. The hosts at the B&B are very friendly and caring about the guests comfort. Breakfast is very good, you make a choice and it is cooked for you in a way you like it. Free parking at the premises.

Very good breakfast all freshly cooked to our order (placed the evening before). There was parking on the premises and the street was quiet. The bed was comfortable and the hosts welcoming.
The room above had a creaky floor which woke us up in the night when other guests arrived and also were up in the night. This is an older property and so to some extent this is unavoidable. My recommendation is to not stay in a ground floor room.
