Position was a big plus, as it protected us from traffic noises. We were just 6 minutes walking distance from the closest free beach, while the other free beach was maybe 8 minutes away. Wonderfully warm and clean waters! An extremely helpful host made our staying very comfortable. Air conditioning in every room was a must during our staying due to exceptional heatwave. And the huge garden helped keeping out little one entertained during the warmest hours. The bus service appears reliable and cheap, so visiting other beaches by bus is a convenient alternative to a car rental which is only really necessary for transporting food and water
Wearing a mask on public transport was a pain and food prices on the island were significantly higher than on motherland.
The price of not having a car is heavy when it comes to ferrying drinkable water from the store on foot, although in truth all locals go through the same pain.

Nice, big apartment with huge terrace, five minutes walk from the beach. Perfect location, quiet and still close to everything! We were three adults and had two bathrooms and one bedroom each, lovely! Fully equipped kitchen with all you need for self-catering. We loved the terrace were we could sit under the shades from the trees in the morning and afternoon. Simonetta is the best, so nice and helpful. We would love to come back. Highly recommended!
