The staff were tremendous The hotel is warm and comfortable. Plenty of parking spaces, and an easy walk into town

Hotel was expensive for level of experience.

Food service was quick both at evening service & breakfast, however, there were limited people in dining at the time.

Decor/rooms was tired - shower pressure was pretty weak & shower head spray was a bit wonky Although hotel itself was quiet, I could hear everything of adjacent occupant on 2nd night of my stay Rooms were very warm (had to turn off heating, but still warm & stuffy)

Lovely stay to visit Whitehaven but the hotel is showing its age.

Close to the town centre, great staff and a good breakfast.

Tiring aging hotel that needs a good refurb. Lovely building but now showing its age. Hot water ran out in our room, they quickly put us in another room for a shower which was great but just again showed its aging. Great potential to be a lovely place again but needs a lot of investment.

Good value for mo eu hotel with adequate free parking.

The staff were lovely. The hotel was clean and comfortable and overall it was good value for money. The location was great for us as we were visiting relatives in Whitehaven. Easy to walk into town for a few drinks on Saturday night. The bar terrace area was lovely and the bar prices were very reasonable.

The breakfast service was a bit slow but there was an event going on that day so I assume that impacted on service.

An excellent hotel, that is clean and comfortable and not far from the centre of Whitehaven

Really friendly staff, excellent food and service. The room was cleans and comfortable. The outside area was absolutely gorgeous and nicely kept, the parking was also ample with lots of spaces to choose from!

The bathroom was clean, however a bit of grime/mildew build up on cracks and crevices but that’s to be expected.

Very comfortable & relaxed.

The breakfast was very lovely and the staff were very accommodating to my allergies. There was not a great variety but the full English me and my partner had was cooked lovely. The bed was very comfy !! Plenty of pillows and the room was lovely and clean. Had loads of storage too. The bed was very comfy & soft. Had a great night sleep and could only hear people if they were outside the door. Flooring had great access for wheelchairs. The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful!!

The room was a bit small and the windows handles were broken or missing. The bathroom did not have a lock on it.

Got there to be told no food after 5 - we got there at 4:30 I know the Hotel has new owners from late 2024 but it was very dated and looked a bit run down, paint peeling on walls, awful smell - like old chip fat. Massive crack in our bathroom window Breakfast burnt- burnt sausages and bacon , film on top of the fried egg Poster's all over the place about deep cleaning fee of room £250 due to sickness biohazard mess !!!- not sure what clients the hotel normally has but was a bit off putting it feels like a hotel that is used by workmen who stay away from home in the week - thats fine but its not really what i was expecting

Very clean and staff were friendly.

We stayed in room 1 on the first floor which is right above the bar. Some guests were in the bar area at 5 am making a lot of noise which woke us up. They were there for a long time and we didn’t get back to sleep. Not the fault of the staff as the bar was shut. Just very inconsiderate guests and our room was in a bad location.
