AL183

I stayed at AL183 for three nights and was genuinely impressed. I had booked it mainly for its convenient location, without particularly high expectations, but it turned out to be one of the best places I stayed during my trip to Sardinia. The location is excellent, right on Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, surrounded by restaurants and cafés and within easy walking distance of the train station. Despite being in such a lively area, the room was remarkably quiet, as its windows faced an inner courtyard. The room itself was spacious, spotlessly clean and full of character, with a charming vintage-style interior and exposed wooden ceiling beams. The air conditioning worked well, and the bathroom was spacious, modern and very comfortable. Another pleasant surprise was the shared refrigerator, which I hadn't expected, along with a small selection of useful items such as glasses and a corkscrew. The self check-in and check-out were extremely easy, with clear instructions and no need to arrange a meeting with the host.

The only minor drawback was the limited natural light and the rather uninspiring courtyard view, but neither bothered me personally. There is also no elevator, although the room is only one flight of stairs up.

Great location

Wish so had a window, but still enjoyed the comfort

Very central

The accommodation was clean, spacious, and well located. The air conditioning was especially appreciated in the 35°C heat.

A few small additions would have made the stay more comfortable, such as a larger rubbish bin, more chairs—we only had one for two people—and a few drinking glasses. A small freezer compartment in the room would also have been useful. The main downside was the noise. If the windows and doors were better soundproofed, this would be an outstanding 10/10 accommodation.
