Excellent stay again at Campra lodge - true winter wonderland

Stayed at the Campra Lodge again for short break. Location is in the middle of a wonderful alpine area - quite secluded with nordic ski course in front of the door. It snowed quite a lot while I was there - absolutely amazing view from my room and the hotel. Room was great, good bed, modern, nice balcony, great shower. Nice restaurant/bar open even with not so many guests around on a Monday evening. Nice spa. Superfriendly staff made the difference for me. If you're new to Nordic Ski - there is a Swiss ski school in front of the hotel and you can rent material there as well. There is a great loop through the nature area next to the hotel - truly breathtaking.

Did not bother me but the area also hosts kids camps for learning skiing and you may hear them a bit.

Perfect location to explore Val Blenio

The room is perfect to my liking. Practical, build with natural materials, good bed and view into the woods.

The media system that turned on horrible music and the TV every time we activate the room with the card and required a manual action to stop it. The kitchen below our room from where the staff smoked and thus the smoke rose and filled our room. The restaurant is not any good which is sad as there is no other near by. Breakfast was okay.

Modern hideaway in the forests of Lucamagno

Very modern hotel in a calm and natural setting. Dinner menu and quality was outstanding, nice terrace outside. Great location to go hiking with very convenient parking/access.

Restaurant atmosphere gives more "school camp" vibes than romantic dinner: think very simple and large room. The breakfast is definitely not at the level of the rest of the accomodation (e.g. no warm dishes)

Extra costs for everything

It is quite new and the room and amenities were very clean. The staff was very nice. Breakfast was very good, as well as the food from the restaurant that we had for dinner.

The spa was very small (a small jacutzzi for 2 people, a tiny steam room, a sauna and a few hammocks), and costs 20 chf for 1.5h, plus another 5.- for a towel, so in our opinion a bit overpriced. We also had to pay an extra 10 chf per person for the bed linen.

Absolut empfehlenswert

Super Lage direkt an der Langlaufloipe, geräumiges, helles, gemütliches Zimmer mit bequemem Bett, toller Balkon mit Sicht auf die Berge. Der Spa Bereich ist klein aber ausreichend. Beim Frühstück ist alles dabei, was man sich wünscht. Interessante Menukarte für das Abendessen. Freundliches Personal, welches teilweise noch etwas Übung im Service braucht. Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen.

In camera all'arrivo i cestini erano ancora pieni. Nella nostra camera mancava l'equipaggiamento per la Spa (accappatoio, ciabatte e asciugamano) e mancava l'asciugacapelli in camera. In genere il personale era gentile ma palesemente con poca o nulla esperienza nel settore alberghiero.

La struttura é bellissima e rinnovata da poco. Personale più che accomodante e disponibile. Ci sono venuti in contro per qualsiasi esigenza. Le camere sono molto basiche e adatte specialmente a chi viene per sciare. Il centro benessere tenuto molto bene e con un paesaggio suggestivo. Consiglio vivamente!!
