Great stay for 1 night for transit.

The location is nice, just a couple of minutes from the main road and the self-check in was easy and smooth. The hotel is located next to a road and the railway but I didn't notice any noise of those. There are enough parking spots right next to the hotel, always nice to have a short walk to your bed. There is a gas station at the hotel, benzene and diesel. Reasonable price for Swiss.

The room was quite noisy, regarding the sounds of other guests. For example talking and use of the bathroom. The bed is rather small, for single travelers no problem but for two people it looks little small to me.

Big room great for a night stay while traveling between Switzerland/Italy. It had complimentary water and chocolates, which is really nice.

It wasn't ideal to find out that breakfast was not available until a couple of hours before check-in, but the host discounted the appropriate amount and we went for breakfast in a town nearby.

Superb

The place is well renovated, everything very clean and comfortable. Great restaurant with great cook and really nice owner. The food was great.... dinner and breakfast, really beautifully done. Ricky and Salvatore made my evening. Thank you so much for the lovely time, I'll come back.

The street was noisy and there was no view from the window.... but oh well, I just slept in the room and for that it was perfect.

Great stay!

The best host you can imagine, overall very friendly people. Great service and food despite we arrived very late and are the only one eating. Good location right on the passage from central Switzerland to Italy.

The room was a bit simple for Swiss standard, but the prices are good and we'll stay here again if we need to stay in the vicinity.

Lovely couple running the hotel

The couple that owns the hotel was amazing and super kind. The food at the restaurant was great. The location is very nice when passing through switserland to italy/germany, in between the mountains and close to the highway. Everything was nice and clean. I would recommend staying here since we felt very welcomed and comfortable during our stay.

The only thing we can think of is that the beds were a bit hard.

A small little family run hotel. Food was amazing and service was top notch. Being a family run hotel, there was a personal touch. Something big hotel chains can't offer. If you're going through or are around the area, give this area a shot! We'll definitely go back given the chance.

it is 5mins away from Chironico and other climbing areas. and the staff and owner are very very friendly and hospitable.

Cozy, good food, well located, excellent service.

Service is really great. It was very easy to transact. Food at the restaurant was nice - both breakfast and dinner. They have big servings. Our purpose for staying was to go rock climbing and bouldering at Chironico and Sobrio - location is excellent and near to the crag. The room was also very clean.

Overall it was a great experience, but having a bigger space to place all our gears might have been better.

It was a really nice hotel, friendly staff and a clean stay.

The welcome was really nice. The lady was very friendly and showed us the room. It was nice and clean but a little small. Perfect for a short stay! The food in the hotel restaurant was really good and the chef was also really nice. The breakfast was big enough with good en fresh food and fruit and nice drinks.

The beds.. They were really really hard. This could be softer.

The family running the B&B was extremely friendly and the breakfast they served was superb!

Perfect, friendly hotel for a short stop-over

We spent a night at the Elvezia on our way to Italy and it was exactly what we needed: clean rooms and a nice bed for a good night’s sleep. Bonus: very friendly staff, a good restaurant for dinner and a fantastic breakfast.

If you need space... the Elvezia is a small, family-owned hotel with tiny rooms. Good enough for our stay-over; it was just fine for us.

Very pleasant, helpful, and welcoming staff. Outstanding breakfast with a lot of fruit and other choices. The room was cozy and comfortable. Very good choice after a long travel or during Switzerland road trip stop.

The rooms are squeezed on one floor. The noise from other rooms is coming easily through the walls.

Easy to reach location close to the main highway n.2. Perfect for a one-night stay while on the drive. Basic accommodation, but very clean and comfortable. Rich breakfast with good, standard (not home-made) products.

Add a coffee-maker and small fridge in the room. A couple more towels.

Nice pizzeria. Pizza was very delicious and not expensive. The rooms a pretty small what is stated on description. Was good enough for staying one night. For longer stay it would be less convenient.

It was cheap, but comparing with other options we have tested same week in surroundings, finally, not really so cheap comparing with a space you buy.

Gaan we niet meer doen.

De plek was prima zo op doorreis. Maar echt daar is alles mee gezegd.

Piep kleine kamer. Geen mogelijkheid om koffie of thee te zetten anders dan in de keuken van de gastvrouw. Zij was echt aardig maar de kamer was veel te warm ook. Totaal niet geschikt om een mooie comfortabele nacht te maken.

Ein ganz einfaches Haus, ein kleines Zimmer, ein schmales Bett, ein sauberes, funktionelles Bad, Gratis-Parkplatz - mehr braucht man nicht, wenn man auf der Durchreise ist. Und preislich das beste Angebot in der Umgebung.
