A few steps out of the front door you will find yourself at the Oceanic Restaurant. The restaurant is part of the old Crystal Pier with outside dining and live music. Across the street from the cottage is South End Surf Shop, with paddle board and bicycle rentals, in addition to clothes and sun screen. Sundays coffee shop is located above the surf shop. Take your laptop and enjoy a brew with a view of the Atlantic ocean and east coast surfing. Buy a t-shirt, coffee mug, etc. because you’ll want to remember this iconic spot. Walking on the South end is the best. Be sure to have your camera with you when walking south because you will see the bird sanctuary and inlet. If you like to fish you’re in luck because there is fishing from the pier and surf fishing near the inlet.

Why did I not call as soon as I noticed? Because once I’m on vacation I really don’t want to be bothered with having to clean up what was supposed to already have been done. Most of these things would have required serious attention and we only wanted to be able to enjoy the space privately without service crews coming in.
Is it up to the rental agency or the owners to provide some sort of quality integrity of the space that you are staying in? I don’t know but I would like to think that these are some things that would stand out and leave a blemish on the agency, the owner and the location. Of course I can go stay in a hotel but I would prefer a house. But I would also prefer the small details like the nasty air return duct be on anyone’s radar for repair. This location is priceless and all of the details that I mentioned above could so easily be taken care of but, like many owners and agencies it’s not about presenting well as much as it is about cashing in. I would encourage the owners and the agency to attend to so many small details that
