About this house rental
Sit on the wrap around porch and watch beachgoers pass by. Swing in the hammock and doze off to the sound of the ocean. Enjoy the outdoor shower after a day on the beach. Take a leisurely bike ride to the local shops and dining. Stroll down the white sand beach and watch the moon rise as the sun sets behind you. Just three houses back from the ocean it is only a short walk to the beach! If you value these things over a fancy decor then this is the place for you!

The Shabby Shack was more like a cute, lite beach bungalow and nothing about it was shabby! I love its petite size with space for sleeping 8 and a giant porch for relaxing on. While it's surrounded by big houses, this is perfect for a more intimate, small vacation group - I hope it never gets torn down! An outdoor shower is a must in my family while on beach vacations and this one was great!! There are minor things that could use upgrading (pots and pans and cooking utensils), but the appliances seemed fairly new. The new living room sofa is quite comfortable, as is the new outdoor lounge furniture! The beds and pillows were comfortable and the decor was very cute. The house was quiet and we all slept well. The owner was very attentive and communicative. I only had a few small questions, but Orsi responded immediately and was very warm, welcoming, and pleasant to email with. We appreciated the reminder that the beach well water isn't too tasty (even though it is safe to drink) and provided us with a few bottles of drinking water (future guests: a Brita is good to bring, too, to help dampen the funny taste). Best of all, dogs are welcome. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and we really hope to return in the future!!! Im very grateful for having such a lovely place to stay at an affordable price and perfect size for my family.
