Bring your own hot water & toilet roll

Amazing location, Cool apartment overall with nice lounge area

No hot water. Didn’t work throughout our stay & staff said they sent an engineer and fixed it. This was untrue and was never fixed, staff then stopped replying. Also no toilet roll in the appartment when we arrived, found that out the hard way. If you’d like stay with a hot shower… look elsewhere.

Great location, but premesis is neglected and needs

The location

A £100 deposit, when this wasn’t mentioned at the time of booking. The place was dirty and had mould everywhere. I booked this for my staff, who are from Blackpool, and even they who have the worst b&b's in the country were disappointed with the quality.

Don't judge a book by its' cover

The locations is incredible. A bit noisy but it's what you can expect in the centre of the city. Very clean, tidy, and nice. Exactly what we were looking for.

The entrance is quite dodgy through the alleyway, but the apartment afterwards is very clean and neat. The windows were not insulating very well, which was not a problem this time of the year for us.

Amazing location, very affordable! Very noisy but as should you expect with where it is situated!

Very good location! Staff were amazing, very accommodating and very good communication! Did really like the place but there were issues with it, which were bearable for us but may not be for everyone.

Only one out of 4 of us got to feel the shower hot even with the booster, rest of us had freezing cold showers each day. Microwave didn’t work, oven burnt the one thing we tried to cook within 3 minutes to a crisp. The bed off the kitchen was rock hard, killed our backs/sides, had to put the duvet from the bunk bed on top to try and make it more bearable. Also horrible smell in the place the entire time not sure what that was, we had to buy air freshener to deal with it. Nowhere to hang any clothes (all the cleaning stuff is in the one place with hangers).

Not what we were expecting

In the middle of Bristol

Noisy, the apartment was dirty despite paying a cleaning fee. There was no forks, the microwave and bedroom doors were broken and the boiler only worked half the time. I found an old condom on top of my cupboard

Location is great Check in process easy

Nice of them to leave earplugs but the flat is so noisy that it's impossible to get a good night's sleep unless you're a night owl and sleep in the day Flat is not childsafe which wasn't mentioned when we booked with a 2 year old (climbing hazards etc) Cold as cracks in windows No TV - OK this wasn't listed in the facilities when I checked afterwards but for 120 quid a night you'd expect a telly Mildew on Windows and in shower, generally not that clean Hot water only works sometimes even when you follow the instructions they left Were unable to offer even a slightly later checkout time despite 4 days notice and a 6 hour turnaround between checkout and checkin Overall this is a decent place to stay if you and a couple of mates are going on the lash in Bristol for a weekend and don't care about comfort, but it shouldn't be made available to travellers who indicate they are staying for business or have children Sure therell be loads of excuses in response to this and yes we didn't complain about this when we were staying (don't really have time to engage with the landlord when am working and juggling a kid) but end of the day it was just really disappointing for 500 quid.

the position is fantastic in the middle of the old town, very peculiar and to close to many restaurants, clubs … the apartment is very welcoming, well furnished and with a touch of style that I appreciated a lot

we could not shower because there was some problem with hot water the common entrance to the building is dirty and stinky

Dirty, Smelly, Noisy

the location

Dirty smelly alley to access the flat, the alley was full of overflowing bins, pigeon poo and people smoking. the communal area stank and was very dirty. The flat was dirty and smelly (we went out to buy air fresheners to help with the smell) burnt food left on the hob, open left over food in kitchen cupboards, kitchen sink leaking with bowl left in cupboard under sink to catch water (which stank) no plug for the sink, no tea towel or kitchen roll. Shower nearly overflowed due to plug not being cleaned. lots of dust in light fittings throughout flat, heaters coming away from wall and looked unsafe to use. Light bulbs out in different rooms making it dark in some places. Under beds/mattress’s very dirty and dusty. Remains of smoking within flat and whole flat smelt like people had been smoking inside. Broken windows, blinds did not reach bottom of windows. Given the location with bars below would have thought the flat would have been sound proofed, could hear the flat next door over the music from the bars below. After speaking to the cleaning company they were very quick at getting someone out to clean over the things that had been missed, although not perfect, it made the stay bearable. booking.com refunded the cleaning fee and after speaking to the owners agreed to refund us some of the booking fee. Given the choice, we would not choose to stay here again.

It could not be more central. The apartment is fun and quirky. My son loved the high bed, turning it into his play area. We were all pretty entertained by the nightlife outside.

It should be obvious from the location, but it is loud. The stairs to the apartment are a bit stinky, but it adds to the mystery (there is no stink at all inside the apartment). Oh, and it would be nice to have somewhere to hang some clothes.

La ubicación porque está en pleno centro aunque por la noche hay mucho ruido pero era de esperar. Tuve que contactar con ellos en varias ocasiones y contestaron de inmediato. El microondas estaba nuevo.

La limpieza era bastante superficial, lo visible estaba ok pero en general descuidado. Además había un olor muy malo que salía de la cocina pero se fue yendo con los días y me imagino que era puntual ya que al parecer los anteriores huéspedes habían armado lío en la cocina (habían quemado la kettle y algo más… Nos trajeron una nueva a mitad de nuestra estancia). El horno no conseguí que funcionara.

Spacieux confortable mais bruyant

L emplacement géographique, hyper centre + le volume de l'appartement ( 3 couchages : 2 chambres avec lit double + grand lit sur mezzanine; 1 canapédans le salon, une cuisine bien équipé+ salle de bain spacieuse)+ le confort ( literie moelleux + canapé confortable, draps très propres, table à manger pour 4, bouchons d'oreilles )

Les fenêtres dans un piteux état, vraiment dommage. Elles ne permettent pas d aérer, les vitres sont cassées, scotchées, ...on n a pas osé ouvrir les fenêtres pour aérer. Pour l eau chaude, les consignes ne sont oas claires ( il faut mettre en route la chaudière)+ la cafetiere a piston est abîmé ce qui ne permet pas de faire un café filtre . Très bruyant, normal en centre ville mais également dû au défaut d'isolation côté rue, à cause des fenêtres simple vitrage et vitres cassées. Ce sont les seuls points négatifs.
