It was spacious clean and modern with everything you needed it was really lovely and a friendly welcome

Everything was great

Private, clean, spacious, peaceful, calm. Donna and Clive were always available but absolutely respected guests’ privacy. Convenient for city of Oxford, Blenheim and very near Eynsham with superb food in The Talbot Inn.

Absolutely nothing.

Pleasant, large, nicely furnished room with a bathroom and bath en-suite - brilliant, we aren’t fans of showers. The little kitchen area was useful and great to have a sofa and dining table. Comfortable bed.

The fridge was switched off and we didn’t realise, so the things we put in to keep cold, didn’t. Would be useful to tell guests they need to switch it on - although for one night, it would take a while to get to a useable temperature anyway. The setting wasn’t very green and a bit enclosed, which wasn’t ideal for us. I am very reactive to ‘air fresheners’ and checked the room, but missed a plug in behind a desk, which meant I had a bad night and headache the next day. Next time we stay somewhere, I will ask. Ground floor, so it didn’t feel that safe to have the windows open. Locks that allow windows ajar would help. Bit hard to find the property when we arrived.

Beautiful barn. It felt lonely as the owners were not living on the premises. On the first night there was no heating on at all. I happen to carry a hygrometer/temperature gauge with me( for my musical instrument care) so I know my room was 15C. I couldn’t get warm! This was remedied for the second night. Donna was great- friendly, apologetic, and kind.
