For me, it’s the best hostel on Penida Island. It’s quiet, clean, and spacious, with an amazing sea view. Guests can enjoy free water, tea, and coffee all day, and there’s also a kitchen for cooking. The owners provide the most attentive service a guest could ever expect. I’d give it a 10 out of 10.

Peaceful and warm place.

This place has an amazing view, the hosts are friendly and kind. It’s a big plus that you can use the kitchen, and there’s also a spacious common area. I liked everything about it.

I can’t drive a motorbike, so it’s probably a little far to walk from the town, but it’s not a big deal.

The owners were really nice! The beds were allright and there was enough storage space. The rooftop is amazing during sunset. The quality you get for this price is amazing!

The location is sub optimal, you need to rent a scooter to visit the more crowded centre.

A perfect base for us while we stayed in Nusa Penida. Super comfy dorms and the most wonderful staff. Thank you for being so kind and generous to us, and dropping us off at the ferry too. The rooftop is perfect to wind down after the day and watch the sunset, and the free tea/coffee was a lovely touch too. Thanks for a great stay 💛

The staff was really nice and friendly! They helped out with everything, including giving me a raincoat and medication. They also helped me to plan my further trip with a lot of patience. Would definitely recommend staying at this place for a few days!!

The owners are super nice! They give you a free lift from the harbour and also I needed to go to the clinic and they also drove me there. So nice! Also the location is nice, you do need a scooter or a driver to get around but you have a nice view from the hostel, especially the roof top. The dorm is also nicely cool with AC and the curtains give the beds some privacy.

very good value for the price - beds are really comfy and with enough privacy, the view from the balcony & rooftop is just amazing. The hosts speak good English and are really nice, they also rent scooters for a good price and organize tours which are worth it. the location is somewhat far from everything if you are walking, however this means it is very quiet at night + they offer a pickup service from/to the harbour

The staffs were really nice. They have all the facilities, like bike rentals, snorkeling booking, ferry booking etc. The staff suggested really good places to explore in Nusa Penida. They provided GoPro for free for the snorkeling. The bike rentals were really cheap compared to other rentals. You will meet nice people here.

The bathroom walls were not smooth. I got a scratch on my hand while taking off my shirt.

The owners of this hostel are the most amazing people who treat everyone just like family! I also met great people staying at the hostel and wish I could have stayed longer. 100% recommend. Great cooking facilities, free drinking water, free rides into town/ to the port and so helpful with organizing drivers, scooter and snorkeling ☺️

The hostel was good but I found it hard to get around as I don't ride a scooter.

The owners were wonderful really friendly nothing was too much trouble. They helped by collecting me from town and booking my onward travel. They also collected me when I first arrived. Lovely friendly family.

The hostel was up a hill and was quite a walk from the town. I don't drive a scooter so I found it hard to get around. The roads were also quite dangerous, I met several people who had had moped accidents.

A haven in paradise

I booked this hostel for 2 nights. Stayed for 6. Everything was perfect. From needing a scooter during your stay at Nusa Penida, to booking snorkelling trips, for advice on what to see at Nusa Penida, Hostel Bukit Sangcure will help you with it all. Echo even informed me about how to avoid being scammed when purchasing boat tickets to Lombok island. He called a friend who gave me a scooter ride to the correct harbour. Incredibly helpful and greatly appreciated. Lots of love for Echo and Echa. Thank you!

-Amazing view from the common area on the sea and the volcano Agung on Bali. -The room actually had enough of space to put the bags on the floor for many people, which I rarely saw in other hostels. -The people I met there:) I'm bringing back very good memories with them - Some staff member was very helpful regarding recommendations, and also lent us their own Gopro camera for the snorkeling trip! - Some books available in the common area, looks good and I could start reading one of them. I rarely saw books in other hostels.

The breakfast wasn't bad but could be improved a bit (looked a bit too simple).

I would say this is the best hostel in nusa penida. Staff is so helpful, location is great. You can take scooters on rent from the property itself. They also organized snorkeling tour. I had the best weekend here. Highly recommend this place
