We had a beautiful, large, high ceilinged room with a patio view. The patio itself was also quite nice. The whole building is full of character. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. We also liked the honor bar for wine and beer; it made it nice to be able to grab a drink when we wanted. We also liked the location as we were able to walk to a lot of places and if it was far, there were taxis close by and easy to grab.
At that time of year, May, the air conditioning wasn't operating so we opened the patio doors for air circulation, but then a few mosquitos came in which we delt with. Not a big deal, but something to be aware of.

The staff were very friendly, accessible and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful and there was a coffee machine and yogurt, milk and juice in the fridge 24/7. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was walking distance to many tourist attractions.
The skeleton key for our room was difficult to use and we struggled with it to get into and out of our room. It was especially concerning to have difficulty getting out of the room. The door to our room opened in and there was a second door that opened out. If there had been a fire, we would have been trapped and there was a grate above outside, if we had broken the window.
