Excellent location, amazing view, but needs upgrade.

Upon arrival Dean was waiting for us and was very welcoming which was nice. Location of the property is excellent, slightly away from the busy Kotor (Kotor is very much a walkable distance and makes for a lovely evening walk). The property was homely, clean and had pretty much everything we needed.

We felt the facilities could do with an upgrade. Electric stove on which we were trying to boil water for tea was taking forever, you literally need to get up earlier to get that started :) The pole for the shower curtain kept dropping. Bedding was clean but pretty old too.

Great stay in the perfect location with amazing hosts

Location was perfect. The patio had an amazing view. Right in front of the beach. Hosts were very sweet and helpful.

Shower was awkward as you had to hold the shower head the whole time. Doors were very loud

Beautiful place to stay, Dean the owner was so helpful with anything we needed, we felt safe and comfortable at all times. This place is perfect for friends, couples, families wanting a relaxing get away.

Traditional Home in Dobrota

The host (Dean) was great, easily contactable and gave us a really warm welcome. The location is perfect - you can have a nice coastal walk to lively Kotor and get back to this cosy, quiet area with a beautiful beach right in front of the property. Plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants around. The terrace overlooking the beach was very cosy and nice to have a drink or breakfast on. Dean's garden is cosy and lovely. The house is very old, traditional and quaint.

Dean the host was very accommodating and couldn’t do enough for us including booking taxis when we needed them. The location is perfect with a 20 minute walk into Kotor old town and a 15 minute walk the other way to some nice restaurants in Dabrota. We spent most evenings pre dinner on the terrace overlooking the bay with wonderful views with a glass of wine which was really nice

The owner was kind and helpful. The location was beautiful but a little difficult to find as it’s on a busy one way road.

Kotor, Montenegro. What a stay !

The apartment is two steps away from the sea. It is really fast and super-easy to access the sea. The terrace is beautiful and the view is awesome. Hosts are kind and welcomed us at the arrive in a great manner.

We received an apartment at the third floor. The apartment we had is a little bit old; it is evident it was not subject to renovation works. It would need those. The hot water for the shower ends because of the presence of a boiler: we were in 4 in the apartment and the latest man who made the shower received cold water.

We’d love to come back

Loved loved loved the location. The host, Dean, couldn’t have been nicer. Warm welcome, lent us hairdryer, and booked us taxi back to the airport. Deck chairs were available for our use on the waterside opposite. Felt we were looked after, although we were not encroached on. We had the twin bed plus sofa bed apt . Was basic but very comfortable and clean. Quiet! Enough wardrobe space, fridge. WiFi only in the apartment. Beautiful shared balcony overlooking the sea. Easy walking distance to Kotor and also to lovely restaurants in the other direction. Bakery five mins walk up the hill, supermarket along the front. Beautiful sunbathing and swimming area right in front of apartments. Had a lovely time and big thank you to Dean and family.

Just for awareness, not dislike: you need to bring/buy own shower stuff, only soap and loo roll provided. (Numerous shops within walking distance) . And for those with mobility issues, be warned, there are stairs.

The owners, Dean and his wife, are superb. They can't do enough for you. The location is 5 star on the very front of the lake, 2 minutes walk to the supermarket 10 minutes walk to kotor centre The sun terrace is great fir breakfast Complimentary bottle of wine in the apartment Parking is very good, straight outside the apartment. Fridge

Without being picky, the apartments are showing their age. The mattress on the bed should be changed, it's stained and old, as are the pillows. The sink in the shower room is too big and makes moving around the small room difficult. There was no curtain on the shower, so the whole room became wet The shower room drain is very smelly, and first thing in the morning it makes you feel sick. The bedding on the bed is old and needs modernisation

Beautiful place on the beach

Beautiful room in a beautiful building. View to the bay and the beach, I loved it! Working AC and WiFi. Own bathroom and kitchen. Good double bed. Nice walk to the old town. Supermarket was quite near and restaurants too.

No hair dryer. My kitchen was kind of a hallway, because the other guests had to go through it to get in or out. It was disruptive sometimes.

Incredible views, lovely host

Wonderful location, amazing views! The host was welcoming and friendly, despite our language barrier he did everything he could to help us and was very kind, even driving us to the bus station for our trip home! Such a gorgeous terrace and the best location to explore kotor from, as it’s walking distance to the old town but also has a small beach right in front to relax in.

Great view and location

Stone house, in accordance with the ambiance of the whole bay area, to feel like a local, just by the sea with a great veranda looking at the sea and the mountains. Around 30mins foot walk from the old town, all along the seaside promenade. The house has inside garden and two terraces. Our 2-bedroom apartment was perfect for 4 people, bathroom with hot water and towels provided, small kitchenette with small fridge and a kettle, wifi working. Beds were comfortable and with very thin and light, but very warm blankets. Host is very nice and friendly and a bottle of local red wine was a gift.

Local stone house, so the windows can't be opened, but the view is great from the terraces. Bathroom is small, so the floor can get very wet after showering.

Great properly with a beautiful view at a perfect walking distance from the old town

Great studio at a perfect distance from the Old town. Allows you to avoid the crowds during the day and enjoy a more quiet stay when needed to. A beautiful view on both, the bay and the mountains from the terrace. There are a lot of cafes and restaurants a short walk from the apartment, as well as a store to buy groceries if needed. The bay is less than a minute away and the property has loungers available to use. Friendly hosts.

Best host ever! Location is great since it is just on the begining of the part where you can acutally swim, and it’s very near to Kotor, perfect if you want to enjoy sea during the day and take a walk in Kotor in the evening.

Didn't like having to share VERY small fridge with other guests. The furniture was very old & used.

The very small fridge & 2 burner stove with poorly equipped "kitchenette" is shared area with two other rooms. We were also asked to leave 2 hours before normal check out time, because he had other guests arriving early.

Está muy bien ubicado, tienes el mar delante de tu apartamento y estás a 20/25 minutos caminando del centro de kotor sin necesidad de coger transporte, tiene lo necesario para pasar ahí varios días. Los dueños viven en la planta de abajo pero tienes tu propia entrada y no hay posibilidad de escucharlos, además para cualquier cosa están ahí para ayudarte. Las vista son increíbles

La cocina del estudio no está dentro de la habitación que por una parte es algo bueno debido a que asi no se te queda la habitación oliendo a comida pero todos los demás huéspedes tienen acceso a ella debido a que está en la entrada. Todas las mañanas veíamos al grupo de al lado de nuestra habitación utilizando la Kettle. Además escuchas los portazos y la cocina del “apartamento” de al lado

La ubicación es perfect, estas cerca de Kotor old town y puedes ir caminando, pero sin el agobio de la cantidad de gente que llega a Kotor con cruceros

Hablo de mi apartamento: estaba en malísimas condiciines, 0 mantenimiento, la ducha terrible, las sábanas de la cama con bola… poca higiene, un olor de la habitación de poca higiene… vamos, mal en general. Si costara 15€/noche, pues piensas: para lo que pago me aguanto, pero 125€/noche…. Lo mínimo es limpiarle la cara al apartamento para si alquiler!

Единственный плюс-расположение. 1-я линия в поселке Доброта, рядом с Котором.

Всё не понравилось. Не советую никому, ни ногой. Не указано, что для того, чтобы добраться в комнату, надо подняться по двум большим лестницам. Комната с большими скосами крыши, кровать поставили без учёта этой проблемы , невозможно лечь, не ударившись головой. Владельцы по просьбе меняют старые полотенца с крайней неохотой, о постельном белье и речи нет. В душе нет даже элементарной занавески, весь туалет в воде. Мебель старинная и разваливается в руках.Кухня не в комнате, даже сковородку и утюг надо выпрашивать. Стоянку надо искать, хозяин бережет парковку для Вип-гостей.
