Amazing view

We loved the view from the lounge window and the spacious apartment. Very comfortable bed and lounge furniture

There was no freezer, which was a pity as Iceland was round the corner. We are fit, but those there are lots of stairs to climb if you go out a few times in a day. Look on it as good exercise, and the view is worth it

Could have been a nice stay, spoiled by the lack of internet

Spacious, comfortable and clean apartment

Unable to connect to internet, messaged owners for help as there was no router and you had to use a neighbours and connect to theirs. They couldn’t even be bothered to reply. Had to use my roaming data and incurred extra charges. Definitely wouldn’t go there again as we wouldn’t have gone there if we’d known this. Also the pictures on Booking. com make it look like there’s a large bay window in the living room, when in fact it’s a small one with mirrors on each side. This seems to be false advertising.

Very pleasant stay in a spacious, well-appointed apartment with excellent sea views, near to town.

Property spacious, attractively furnished and well-equipped. Good location in walking distance of town and across the road from the beach. Excellent sea views from property.

Only minor niggles: over 50 stairs to climb to the apartment; no tea tray; no BBC stations on TV.

The view was excellent parking was easy location excellent

The lighting on the stairs was horrendous you were given 10 secs on a Timer to get up two flights of stairs, another 10 secs to get up another f fight of stairs find the keys and open two locks the lights won on every occasion leaving you in total darkness. The smoke detectors heat detectors did not give any I’m alive flashes with the result thought they were not working which made me very wary when sleeping during the night and being up on the fourth floor and the lighting on the stairs to escape down in the event of fire? Lovely apartment, but beware the many stairs

Lovely location, overlooking the beach. Facilities were good. Excellent use of mirrors to make the best of the view.

Even though we were expecting stairs, there were a lot of them. It was a real chore getting a heavy suitcase up to the apartment. You definitely need to be fit. No waste paper baskets upstairs. Quite a trip with your rubbish at the end of your stay. Hall lights need longer timer.

Great Location.

The location was excellent. The space in the apartment was great. The TV was fab as were sofas and lovely views. We enjoyed surfing, mountain biking and walking nearby as well as a boat trip, lovely food and lots of relaxation time.

Hallway and stairs were cluttered and needed more regular cleaning. Broken banister rail needed fixing. Fridge needed to be defrosted and cleaned well. But the owners were made aware and were keen to get it all dealt with as soon as possible. Also, the bunk bed mattress was quite uncomfortable but the double bed was great with an extra mattress topper.

it’s a shame, could have been a lovely holiday.

Dirty tissues under the sofa. The shower blew up while I was in it. filled the apartment with smoke. couldn’t get any one out until the next day. The electrician informed us how lucky we were and how unsafe the electrics were in this property. The irons wire was taped together. I complained when I got home. didn’t even get an apology.

Fabulous beach front location

The location was brilliant, close to all the facilities of town and just a walk over a quiet road and through the dunes to the beach. The kids (age 2&4) loved the beach, the little fair, the arcade and the bouncy castle on the beach. The views out of the windows were fabulous and while the windows are small the mirrors make them look bigger and the rooms feel light. The apartment is comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. The decor is a little tired in parts but perfectly pleasant and as expected for price which is very reasonable. We saw reviews about the stairs but they didn’t bother us too much, yes there are lots but it was fine if you have no accessibility requirements. The stairs inside the apartment aren’t steep so were ok for the kids. Good shower snd comfy beds too.

Always a bug bear when staying away but the curtains are so light we would have loved black out blind / curtains in the bedrooms. Also a fan to use in summer would really help, the sea breezes weren’t really happening so the (not so) helpful advice in the folder to open the windows wasn’t really working! Wifi was little to none existent and the tv reception poor. Yes we were on holiday but being stuck in at night with young kids it goes up the priority list!

Breathtaking views clean beach restful break. Not long enough!

We liked the loccation of the property, across the road from the beach and a short walk into town. The property was self catering, which suited us. We did eat out a few times most notably at; The Dolphin (where you could eat in or take out) and on our last night we dined at; The captains Table, a local restaurant with a Spanish chef🇪🇸. However it does get busy, my daughter had to arrange our reservation 2 days in advance. However the food was worth it☺️👍

The only thing we weren't too keen on was the stairs, as we were on the top floor😓. We did find it hard going getting our luggage up the stairs initially! But the views were worth it😊.

Lots of special touches eg tea, coffee, foil, cling film, cleaning products. Whole apartment was spotlessly clean and very spacious and beautifully furnished. Ideally located for all the amenities in Barmouth.

Stairs to the property are plentiful. Would not be as suitable if you had trouble walking, carrying luggage etc. Not a problem for us though.

Nice apartment with outstanding view!

Everything apart of things I've mentioned above. Rooms was clean, bathroom was clean, kitchen was clean. Owner even left some tea and coffee and even some sweets for guests, so we're really appreciate that and if we'll have opportunity we'll book it again!

Well as apartment as itself is alright, but I would say it's not really friendly for small kids, and you need to keep an eye on them all the time if you don't want to fall them down from stairs. Another thing I didn't like was scaffolding on the front of the building. And getting rid of garbage was pain in the, so we've take them back home with us.
