Abermaw Views

The property was clean, well appointed. The kitchen and bathroom were lovely. There was a pint of milk left for us in the fridge and tea, coffee and biscuits. I had read some older not so good reviews. Please ignore them. This is a clean and comfortable place to stay. It is bright with views over the beach. I had 2 teenagers with me so I can assure you the WiFi works. The TV has all the free channels and there was no problem with reception. The building is over 100 years old so there is woodchip and magnolia and some older furniture but all is clean and in good repair. It has all the fire health and safety you would expect. The location is fabulous just a few strides into centre of Barmouth. Parking wasn't an issue. I couldn't park right outside but spaces scattered about for free. All in all good value and excellent location well placed to visit other places or use the train as station a few metres away.

I wouldn't say I didn't like it but there are 3 flights of stairs to climb so I was fitter by the end of the week. Just be aware you have to get your luggage up and down. I had 2 teenage boys with me so I enlisted them to help. The stair case is lit by timed light switches as I noticed a previous review expressing concern over the stairwell not lit adequately, it is.

Perfect location and central to everything. Lovely spacious rooms with everything we needed to make our holiday superb. The apartment was on the top floor which meant we had the best views.

We loved the view from the lounge window and the spacious apartment. Very comfortable bed and lounge furniture

There was no freezer, which was a pity as Iceland was round the corner. We are fit, but those there are lots of stairs to climb if you go out a few times in a day. Look on it as good exercise, and the view is worth it

Location great, beautiful view.

No freezer, no washing machine, couldn’t get any sand in the shower, cooker old. Conflicting instructions about bins. Communal lights weren’t initially working, they did sort that once we mentioned it. Single bed mattresses very uncomfortable, could feel springs. One of drawers in the bunk bed room looked like it had blood spilled in it.
