Beautiful cosy cottage in a picturesque location
Great location, cosy cottage, plenty big enough for a family of four, beds super comfortable. Our kids loved watching the sheep!
It felt so cold on arrival but once we figured out how to crank the heating up we were nice and warm, it’s what you expect with an old cottage!

The location and light kitchen Views fabulous and good walks Lots of towels
Very cluttered with excessive cushions and ornaments The kitchen was a bit grubby - some plates and pans needed washing The main bed room was very cluttered and dark The garden wasn’t usable really at the back as on a high slope The front area of the property was basic - clearly there had been a hot tub but this had been removed

Perfect stone cottage, comfortable and easy
Location was so beautiful - exactly what we were looking for; Right on the edge of the moors with lovely walks and drives, still easy to get to places by road - Hexham and Newcastle down to Durham up to Alnwick and in between for pubs and horse riding.
