The property was spacious, clean and very well presented. It was well equipped with pretty much everything you’d need. The welcome pack of coffee, tea, milk, biscuits etc was lovely.
The lack of outdoor space was hard with a dog present but having said that, there is a park
a stones throw away from the property.

We enjoyed a comfortable week here with 4 adults and 2 teenagers. Cottage was well appointed but not luxury. A good base for exploring all there is to see around Hadrian's Wall. A drive to find local restaurants.
Parking was challenging for one vehicle only. No back yard at all. We would have appreciated more furniture in the bedrooms where room allowed. Dressing table, chair etc in main bedroom. No flat surfaces to put things.

Great location, very comfortable, warm, well equipped and ticked all our boxes for a lovely weekend. We will definitely be back.
